Johnny heard his phone and he quickly jumped on Pony's bed, snatching his phone, before Pony could. He rushed outside, putting on a jacket (Darry would kill him if he didn't wear one), before responding.
"Hey..!" He responded quickly.
"Damn baby you're voice sounded better than I imagined!"
"You're voice is..average." He joked, Dally laughed, "What's that supposed to be mean, babe?"
"Oh nothing.." he slowly headed back inside, signaling towards the phone to Darry, Soda, And Ponyboy. They all nodded, well besides Pony who wiggles his eyebrows, Johnny flipped him off though.
"So what are you doing?"
"Well I was going to jacko—"
"Did you know that turtles breathe from their butts?" Dally laughed
"What are you doing, sweetheart?" Dally asked calmly, but he wasn't calm he was freaking the fuck out. "Oh nothing much just laying down. How about you?"
"Well I'm just at a lot, lying down and talking to you." Johnny nervously laughed "tell me about yourself, Johnnycakes."
"Well I'm Johnny Cade, sixteen, I use to go to Alendrea High school but dropped out, and I live in Oklahoma."
"Tulsa?"
"Yeah..?"
"Holy shit tell me your address I live in Tulsa."
"Oh my gosh really?! Wait— Is the lot near Sutton street?"
