Chapter Four: What's It Gonna Be

It's been a week since Callie was in Greenville and ever since his visit he had me not only doing a lot of soul searching when it comes to our relationship. I've also reflected on all the good things that will happen if I moved to Dallas. After pondering over the situation at hand I decided to call her & tell her to come back to Greenville so we can sit down and talk about our future together. I felt a sigh of relief come over me but leave it to Imani and Yogi to mess it up! As they both walked into the house arguing I asked them both "what seems to be the problem?" Imani apologized to me for coming in the house arguing then proceeded to harass Yogi about being a real man! Yogi placed his hand in her face then turned his attention to me. This is all your fault Bear? I looked at him all puzzled then asked him how is this all my fault "Yogi" you and Callie Ever since she asked you to move to Dallas you find a way to break up the crew. I swear when you crack the whip she tighten up quicker than a slave picking cotton! I told Yogi not to be mad at me, besides I haven't even made my decision yet. He got up from the table with a sigh of relief he understood that this decision was gonna be a tough decision the only problem Yogi has is who's house he was gonna raid if I decided to move to the best coast. You are so inconsiderate! said Imani. He asked her how was he inconsiderate. I get at least get three meals a day, satisfy a few females from time to time, and still make it to the gym before work, unlike you when have you had a real man knock your spine back straight! Well it wasn't you baby boy because I definitely didn't get mines at all, at least a man respects me unlike them insecure fees you deal with said Imani. Oh so you still mad that other women have my attention you want to talk about respect said Yogi; Oh don't act like a saint now Yogi because once upon a time you would always take advantage of women like me, at least I set the example for women, I use what I got and get everything i want said Imani But you still go home alone said Yogi. She proceeded to shrug her shoulders and he tells her good luck with that with a smirk on his face. You know what that's my cue to leave before one of catches a "CDV"
Bear do me a favor and I pray this sinks into whatever decision you make with Callie. Always think before you speak unlike your friend here, and never take each other for granted. Imani got up and left. Now that all of that unnecessary estrogen, feminist talk has left the building let's get back to the matter at hand. I leaned back on the couch and looked at her. Hey, hey don't give me that look he started it! I told her that's not an excuse! As Pj walked into the house. Man you won't believe what just happened to me! What Teagan tried to be a wife Yogi said jokingly. Pj laughed then charged at him, and I had to hold her back from swinging on him. After everything died down She told us about Imani almost ran him off the road. Leave it to Yogi to piss her off. Yogi told me to drop it and move on. Pj asked him " What did you do now??"  Yogi told him to drop it but Pj wasn't having it then. Hey if Imani wanted you dead, you wouldn't be standing here right now. Yeah! So drop it, your suppose to be on my side anyway due to this hef leaving to chase after Callie said Yogi. Pj tells him I'm not mad at bro if he wants to chase after him like a sad puppy that's her business. When he's forced to be house broken don't call us crying because I'm gonna quickly hit the end button on my cell phone. I thank them both for there support. Pj proceeds to say that's what I'm here for." So what are y'all gonna do???  Yogi immediately stepped in and told Pj you know what they're gonna do? There gonna pick up where they left off, starting on the couch. They both quickly got up from the couch then walked towards the kitchen. I told them both I really don't know what to do at the moment. I gotta plan said Yogi. I told him I wasn't hearing it. Yogi tells him to hear it. I just rented out a cabin in Hendersonville, North Carolina this weekend, and my date canceled on me at the last minute why don't you, and Callie go up to the mountains for the weekend. Pj and I looked at each other that's not a bad idea! I told him thanks for the cabin but the only problem i was gonna run into was having someone watch over his house while he was gone for the weekend. Teagan and I gotta visit my parents in Miami, this weekend, and Gerald is going to New York for a business trip so I didn't have anybody to ask. Yogi chimes in and said he would watch over my house while I was gone. I thought about it for a minute, then a minute turned into five minutes eventually I told her she could look after his house. As the week went by it was time for us to head to Hendersonville. When Bear arrived at the cabin he quickly called Yogi to see if I already left stopped by the house, then he proceeds to get comfortable. When i walked into the cabin with my bags I quickly dropped them on the floor, and called out his name. As I walked into the living room I immediately seen a rose on the table as I picked up the Rose. Callie slowly sneaks up behind her and gives her a kiss. Bear you startled me at first but when she sees his face Callie proceed to kiss him; You scared me! How did you pull this off I quickly say Yogi, her whole facial expression changed! You, and I both know his lifestyle, how sneaky she is! Yogi is around a lot of high profile people baby, we don't even know what it is she does for her clients, or what her clients do for him! For all we know is he could be working for the government, this whole room may be bugged! I told her to relax he is not a spy, this room is not bugged, and only camera is hidden is in the bedroom just in case we wanted to make a movie. Callie pushed off of him Before we even decide to take it to the bedroom let's get to the real reason we're both here. Callie told Bear she's given this a lot of thought but before I could get the words out of his mouth Bear tells me; I don't want you to move to Dallas. He stopped her dead in tracks then I asked her why?? Callie tells me that he doesn't want us to start over again in a new city you're already established here in our hometown. Look after my deal felt apart Mariah and I are now working full time with the business so asking you to move to Atlanta would mess up everything. Besides I've already set up shop in Los Angelas, Atlanta, and New York so once I finish up in Los Angelas I'm relocating to Greenville so I can pick up where I left off now that the ville is expanding I think that I played a huge role in that and I need my advocate back beside me so it can work. I was at a loss for words so all I could do is wrap my arms around her and give her a hug. As the weekend went by I felt like I was in love all over again. When Sunday finally arrived I didn't want to let her go so I had to say goodbye one last time. As I gave her a goodbye hug, and kiss I watched her drive off then proceeded to head back home.
