Chapter Six: Family Matters

Author Note: I decided to do something a little different when I wrote this chapter, I hope  you like the change. I plan on doing the rest of the chapters like this!!

As Bear walked up to the park  he sat beside me and asked me which one of the little girls was Brianna I pointed her out. Bear saw a girl on her tablet doing her homework, when she noticed me she looked over at us and waved to me and smiled. When he saw her his heart stopped. She looked just like him there is no denying that was his daughter. A tear rolled down his cheek as the feeling of him being a father, Bear walked up to where I was standing Breanna walked over to me to get something to drink and she looked up at him. Mommy who is this?" She asked me while pointing at me "Baby this is your daddy you remember me telling you about him."Big Papa" said Breanna as she growled then grinned from ear to ear. I picked her up and gave her the tightest hug ever. As he picked her up and held her in my arms until she told him to pull it together old man I'm a big girl so save those private hugs for later ok? As he put her down and watched her run back over to the slide. Callie looked at him as he wiped tears from his eyes. "How are you feeling right now?" Lawrence looked at her, So why didn't he tell me about her? I didn't want to run you off, Bre and I have been thru a lot and at that time you were depressed about your career so I didn't want you to abandoned her. You know your dad kinda gave me a hint to a situation like this He kept telling me to go to Dallas and make things right but I told him I wanted to look out for you but he said you was good but when you get home there's a little one who's gonna need you more than I am! I reached over and gave him a hug then told him It's not going to be easy Bear but, we will get through this together."

* Imani and Yogi *

Imani walked into the restaurant and saw Yogi sitting at the booth by the window. I walked in and sat right in front of him. "Sorry I'm late." Imani said. "It's okay I ordered you a lemonade." I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. "Look I know it's been a couple of days since the party and- "Look before you decide to get upset both of our emotions were high that night and-" Imani proceeds to cut him off. "It shouldn't have happened." I said "Wait...what?" He looked at Imani confused. "That was an amazing night Yogi but I think we should go back to being friends so let's just put this all behind us." Yogi was shocked girl you just gonna use me like that I was putting some of my best moves down in the bedroom; You actually were and to be honest I got mines twice but I don't wanna mess that up said Imani. She told him and he nodded his head in agreement. "I wouldn't want it any other way."

*Pj and Teagan *

Pj walked in from work and was greeted at the door. "Babe you're home! How was work?" Teagan said hugging him. "We'll practice was straight this off season has been brutal especially since we won the superbowl last season but guess who's been recognized as this season's upcoming defensive player of the year He said doing a little dance. "I knew you could do it! So I guess this means more money, and a bigger contract? Now I can plan the vacation to RIO." Pj scratched the back of his neck. "Actually since I've won the superbowl my agent is now negotiating the contract which means our trip to Rio has to be on hold until further notice. " Teagan was very upset! You just came off a superbowl victory you deserve the money, I'm working overtime at the agency mommy needs a birkin bag to go along with her purse plus we have a wedding to plan, and Junior needs some new clothes for school. Pj told her you didn't have to work honey? Teagan raised her voice slightly and told him it's not the 70's or 80's nowadays women do have jobs and they do work and take care of home too! All I need is your support Andre." She said. "I understand that but for now I'm going to do what's best for me and that is ball." He said and walked to the room and closed the door.
As the day was finally coming to an end it was one the best days of my life! From getting back with Callie then finding out that I have a daughter I must say I'm looking forward to these new beginnings.
