Chapter Two: A Conflicted Situation

Now the history between Bear, and Callie goes way back into our early teenage years up until we both graduated from high school. He was the star defensive end on the football team, Mr popularity, the big man on campus and he was into everything in high school. As for Callie
she was the diva a true " southern girl" who was also cheerleader on the side the one thing I can say about her is that when it's time for me to shine she was always front and center with sunglasses on. Callie has always been about his business due to having both of his grandparents who was always teaching him how life is not gonna stop just because you want it to stop. As for the both of us we both decided to take some time apart to focus on our careers. Callie was fortunate to graduate top of the class, she was also the valedictorian of our senior class now she is one of the biggest names in the industry Callie has her hands on everything from sports, music, she's basically become known as an advocate!  As for Yours truly my college career skyrocketed. After having a breakout season his freshman year in college his football career took a nosedive but with the help from his advocate and a host of other players Bear next few years in college he was able to lead SCT to back to back national championships his junior, and senior year. After win two national championships Lawrence felt like I was on top of the world he was projected to a top 5 pick in the NFL Draft, He was a household name, and the media was blowing him up also due to our public relationship life at the top of the mountain couldn't get any better. until one night last year everything changed. A few weeks before the national championship I was on the rise in the NFL but with so many high expectations, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time which ended my football career.
The night before I was suppose to fly out to California with the crew After we spent a hour at the club I wanted to go in early but one of my high school teammates teammates Isaiah Robinson wanted to go to the club so we checked out our old spot called "The Zone" then we decided to go to Mansion afterwards. The vibe was great I seen a lot of my high school classmates, the Dj was showing us love from the time we walked in but everything stopped when I walked in with the rest of the girls. The whole night Saint and his crew wanted static once I made my way to the door with my high school friends Saint's crew proceeds to jump on me . The fight was over but the argument continued outside until my teammate Mike Anderson told me to get in the car. Before Bear got in the car with him, Imani tried to stop me from getting in the car with Mike due to the backlash that just happened inside the club. Imani told me we will follow you back to school we will order something to eat, sit back and enjoy each other's company, then get ready for the flight to California. Bear agreed with Imani and we left the club before the owner called the police. As we hit the main road I looked out the back window to see if Mike and Bear was following us Imani seen them get stop by a red light; so she told her friend Skye looked if she would slow down and stop in the median until they would they caught up so she did. By the time we made it back to the school Imani and Skye stood outside until Bear and his entourage pulled up to the campus as Mike turned up the music and continue bobbing his head to the beat Shake joined in with him until Imani pulled the plug on there fun as we started to walk back to the dorm a loud squeal came from around the corner  I will forever remember as the two door red challenger came from around the corner as the gunman proceeds to shoot at Bear he was shot twice!! As Imani got off the ground she told someone to call the ambulance!

So if I told you that night changed my entire viewpoint on how I live my life by the time I woke up in the hospital I had two gunshot wounds in my body I fractured my knee in shooting but I was able to heal and slowly but surely make it back to 100% as for the media they buried me, and my college career was over
