Backstory: When Lloyd ran away from Darkly's, he met a little girl in the forest, who was just a year younger than him. She was an orphan who had run away because she was bullied by the other kids. Lloyd, understanding what it was like to be treated badly, took her in. She looks up to Lloyd as her older brother, and Lloyd sees her as his younger sister. Rose was with him through the entire Serpentine thing, and was with Lloyd during the Tomorrow's Tea thing, so she grew as well. Later, Wu tells Rose that she is the descendant of the Elemental Master of Light, and she embraces it, happy to have a useful contribution to the team.
