The sunlight was still cascading over their bodies by the time noon came around. Ashton's face was tucked in the crook of Luke's neck, his hands clutching on to his white shirt while Luke's arms were wrapped protectively around Ashton's smaller frame. They just lied there, tangled in Luke's sheets, breathing in each other. Ashton shifted slightly and peeked up at the taller boy, smiling when he saw that Luke's lips were still red and puffy. Luke cracked open an eye open and caught sight of Ashton already looking back at him and smiled. He dropped his head back on the pillow and sighed in pure bliss.

Ashton was sure he was in love.

Luke was sure he was in love too.

"You don't think you're beautiful, do you?" Luke broke their comfortable silence.

Ashton inhaled Luke's scent again and shrugged, "No."

"I wish you could see what I see."

Ashton smiled at the feeling of butterflies in his stomach and placed a kiss on Luke's collarbone, "What do you see?"

Luke paused for a moment, "Perfection."

Ashton laughed and shook his head, "You're so cheesy."

"And you're so beautiful."

Luke unwound his arms from around Ashton and placed them on either side of Ashton's face, pulling him down until their lips slotted together again. They moved perfectly in sync, slowly, purposefully, flawlessly. Ashton moved so he was straddling the taller boy and gently sucked Luke's bottom lip in to his mouth, flicking his tongue over Luke's cold lip ring, eliciting a quiet moan from the blonde boy. Ashton found himself startled and dizzy when Luke quickly flipped them both over, but he immediately shut his eyes when Luke trailed his lips to the sensitive skin below his ear. Ashton's jaw went slack and he tilted his head to the side.

"Luke..."

Luke continued his work on Ashton's neck, painting the skin beautiful shades of purple. "Hmm?"

"We're going to have a problem in a minute if you keep that up."

Luke laughed, "Keep what up?"

Ashton gasped when he felt Luke lightly bite down on his smoldering skin. "That."

Luke let out a deep chuckle that sent vibrations through Ashton's rib cage. Luke peppered small kisses all over Ashton's face, making the shorter boy giggle, "Weirdo."

The two sat up and placed themselves so they were facing each other.

"So," Luke smiled, "Tell me more about yourself."

Ashton laughed, the beautiful sound bouncing off the walls and filling the room.

"Well, my name is Ashton Fletcher Irwin, and I'm 20 years old. I have a bachelors in English and and studying for my masters in astronomy, but I currently work as a hair dresser. I have two younger sibling, Lauren and Harry. My dad died in an accident five days after Harry was born. I was diagnosed with insomnia at the age of 12. I love music and art. My favourite place on earth is anywhere where I feel close to the sky, and since recently, in your arms."

Luke's smile stretched impossibly wide across his face.

"Now tell me more about yourself."

Luke looked down, "Alright, um. My name is Luke Robert Hemmings. I'm 18 years old and am starting my first year of university this year. I love penguins and have problems dealing with my anger. I have two older brothers, Jack and Ben. I'm much too tall for my own liking and love music with a passion. I play guitar and really like pizza. I'm also very much in love with you."

Ashton's breath caught at Luke's words. "Really?"

Luke looked up and smiled, "Really."

Ashton's heart swelled up with affection for the blonde boy, "Wanna know something funny?"

Luke nodded.

"I'm in love with you too."
