(So I thought I should try something different with my writing so I'm writing about soulmates! I hope you guys will enjoy this story! It will have trigger warnings in here. Just warning y'all).
Forest's POV:
I sat there in my last class of the day waiting for the bell to ring. Hopefully a few more minutes until I can get out of this hellhole. Then, the shrill of the loud bell sounded like music to my ears. Finally, school is done. I made my way out of class and through the hallways. Everything was black. I couldn't see anything at all. It was like that for everyone. Well, everyone who didn't meet their soulmate yet. Only a few students in this school have met their soulmates and can now see. Most of my teachers can see now after meeting their soulmate. I really wanted to meet my soulmate. I don't wanna spend the rest of my life blind and being unable to see. But most importantly, I don't wanna go through life without love. Barely anybody cares about me. My dad doesn't care. He's just a raging alcoholic and an abusive man. He turned like that after my mom died. His soulmate. He went back to blindness after she died. Once your soulmate dies, you go back to being blind and you can't love anyone ever again. The only person who cares is my best friend and older sister Leela. She's the only one who cares. I felt the walls and made sure I was at the spot where I usually wait for Leela. It was. I stood there waiting. A few minutes haven't even passed by yet when someone came up to me and called me names. "Hey faggot! What's up?!" He yelled. A popular kid I'm assuming. There's a whole fuck ton of them. This kid was one of the few students that can see. Surprisingly he has a soulmate. "I'm waiting for someone. What are you doing?" I spoke back. That was a mistake. He punched me in the face and kicked me in the stomach. I doubled over and winced in pain. He grabbed my hair and yanked up my head. I was crying and begging for him to leave me alone. "Hey stop!" A familiar voice yelled. Leela.
Leela's POV:
I was blindly making my way through the halls to meet up with Forest when I heard his pleas and whimpers. Even though I couldn't see what was going on, I knew a popular kid was beating him again. He gets abused by our dad. I hate that I can't be there to protect him. "Hey stop!" I yelled. I felt the presence of the kid's eyes just staring at me. "Leave him alone." I said in a more angry tone. I heard his footsteps back away from Forest and I and heard him leaving. I felt my way around until I felt Forest's hair. I felt around him. He was on the floor sitting. I sat next to him. "Are you ok Forest?" I asked. He was crying next to me. "No." Forest cried. "It's ok. He's gone now." I said pulling him close to me. We sat there for a bit until we eventually left the school.
(I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I hope it was a good start. I'm trying my best here. I hated that I had to put the f word on here. I hate that word with a passion. Stay tuned for the next chapter)!
