Chapter 5

   Forest's POV:

   The next morning, Leela and I made it to school. I made my way through the corridor to see Holden at his locker. He turned directly at me. He smiled so brightly seeing me. "I know Holden's there. I'll get outta here so you guys can talk." Leela said. "Ok. You can make it to your class right?" I asked. "I've been doing this for awhile Forest." Leela said giggling before leaving. When she left, I went up to Holden. "Hi cutie." He said hugging me tightly. I blushed at the nickname and stood there for a bit, in shock before hugging him back. "How have you been?" Holden asked pulling away. "I'm ok. What about you?" I asked gazing at his beautiful blue eyes. "I've been thinking about you all day yesterday. I really wanted to hug you today." Holden said making me blush more. "You're so cute when you blush." Holden said. I looked down not meeting his gaze and smiling.

   Holden's POV:

   I smiled at Forest's cuteness. I was head over heels in love with this boy already. We had just met and I love him so much. I put my index finger under Forest's chin and made him look up at me. "Can I kiss you?" I asked. Forest smiled and nodded. I closed my eyes and put my face closer and closer to his and eventually felt soft lips against my own. We stood there for a few minutes before pulling away. "How was that cutie?" I asked him. He smiled brightly at me. "I loved it." Forest said. He pecked my lips again. "Let's get to class now." I said. Forest nodded. I held his hand and walked with him to his class. "This is it." Forest said to me. "Ok. Have a good class. I'll pick you up when the bell rings." I said to him kissing his cheek. He smiled at me before entering the classroom. We were both in different grades so we had different classes. Forest is a Freshman. I'm a Sophomore. "Yo Holden. I can't believe Forest is your soulmate." My friend Tucker said to me. "And what about it?" I asked him. I was so angry at him for bullying Forest and beating him up. "Doesn't he seem, stupid or something?" Tucker said. Oh hell no. "Don't you fucking talk about him like that!" I yelled shoving him. "What? I was just saying!" Tucker defended. "You better not say that about him ever again! Don't touch him in any way or talk shit about him!" I yelled. Everyone had stopped walking and the ones that could see were in shock while everyone who was blind was wondering what was going on. "What happened to you man?! At first you were so cool and now once this faggot caught your eye, you changed! Now you're just like him! A faggot!" Tucker yelled back at me. That did it for me. I punched him so hard, it caused him to fall to the floor. Once he regained his balance, he punched me back. We kept throwing punches at each other and throwing each other every fucking where until teachers came to pull us away from each other. "FUCK YOU TUCKER!!! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!!!" I screamed while getting held back. "YOU'RE GONNA REGRET LOSING ME AS A FRIEND!!! YOU'LL SEE!!!" Tucker screamed back. We both got dragged away from everyone. I was gonna defend my soulmate. No matter what it takes. He was the boy that made me gain my sight. The one I fell in love with at first sight. I wasn't gonna let him get hurt by one of my so called friends.
