(Another chapter with sweetness and craziness! I hope you guys will enjoy it)!
Holden's POV:
I sat in the peer mediator's office with Tucker by my side. I was so pissed at him. "Ok. So Holden, why did you punch him? I thought you guys were friends?" The mediator asked. "We were. He changed." Tucker said. I rolled my eyes at him. "How did he change?" The mediator asked again. "Ever since he got his sight and met his soulmate, he changed. He barely spoke to me and shit." Tucker said. "Well first off, you did the same thing to me when you met Samantha and you still do! All of a sudden when I meet my soulmate you start complaining that I changed. And I tried talking to you yesterday after school but you just ignored me!" I said. "You could've just told me!" Tucker exclaimed. "I did but you told me to fuck off!" I said to him. "How did this fight start?" The mediator asked. "Because he started talking shit about my soulmate. He bullied him and beat him before too. That was when I didn't meet him. Today, Tucker started talking shit about him. So I told him to stop talking shit about him and he called me and my soulmate a 'faggot.'" I explained. It hurt to say that word. What hurt even more was the fact Forest was called that by Tucker. "Who's your soulmate?" The mediator asked, genuinely curious. "Forest." I said. I lit up a bit saying his name. The mediator nodded smiling. "So Tucker, why did you feel the need to do that?" She asked. "Because he's an idiot! He's fucking stupid!" Tucker said loudly. I whipped my head to look at him. "Oh you fucking asshole!" I yelled standing up. "Holden stop! Tucker, get out!" The mediator yelled. Tucker didn't hesitate as he stood up and left. I sat back down. "I'm sorry about him. I will request a suspension for him." She said. I nodded. All I wanted was for Forest to be safe. I didn't want anything happening to him.
Forest's POV:
The whole morning after my classes, I kept looking around for Holden. I was scared that something had happened to him. Or it was something I did. I heard a fight happened today but I didn't know who it was with. I sat at my usual table at lunch with Leela. "Did you hear what happened to Holden?" Leela asked when I sat down. "What happened?" I asked immediately worried. "He got into a fight with Tucker today." Leela answered. I widened my eyes. A fight between my soulmate and my bully who happen to be friends? "Is he ok? What happened?" I asked frantically. "I don't know what happened. I just know it was between Holden and Tucker." Leela said. I felt a pair of eyes on me. I looked behind me. It was Tucker. His gaze was burning deep into my soul. "Babe stop." His soulmate, Samantha said as she tried to make him face her. He got up and rushed towards me. I gulped fearing the worst. "You fucking asshole! You ruined my friendship with Holden! Fuck you!" Tucker yelled as he slapped me. "Leave him the fuck alone!" Leela yelled. "Shut the fuck up you bitch. You have no right to stick up for him!" Tucker yelled facing her. "He's my little brother you fucking asshole!" Leela yelled back. I looked down at my legs, tearing up. I was so scared. "Tucker stop!" Samantha yelled. "Get him Tuck!" One of his friends yelled. I think his name was Peter. Tucker grabbed my chin and made me look up at him. He slapped me on both sides of my face repeatedly while Leela and Samantha were yelling at him to stop. "TUCKER WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING???!!!" A familiar voice screamed out. Holden. Tucker stopped and backed away from me. "LEAVE HIM THE FUCK ALONE!!!" Holden screamed shoving him. He sat next to me and hugged me. "Are you ok baby?" He whispered. I nodded slightly not looking at him. "Get away from him. Right now. Leave him alone." Holden said to Tucker in an angry tone. This caused him to finally leave. Samantha guided him back to their usual table. "Forest are you ok?" Leela asked. "Y-Yeah." I stuttered out. Holden lifted up my chin with his index finger and made me look at him. Those beautiful blue eyes were filled with fear and worry. I burst into tears and buried my face in his chest. "I'll leave you two alone." Leela said getting up and walking away.
Holden's POV:
I felt so guilty. I wasn't here for him when this was going on. My soulmate is crying against my chest in fear and I couldn't protect him. "I'm so sorry baby." I said to him. "Why?" Forest asked looking up at me. "I wasn't here to protect you. I vowed to myself that I would always protect you. I failed." I said to him. "Baby no. Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault ok? You protected me just now. I could've ended up badly injured if you didn't show up. And you did. Thank you. I love you. I just met you a few days ago and I already love you so much." Forest said to me. I smiled at his words. "I love you too. So much." I said hugging him tighter. He buried his face in my chest while I buried my face into the crook of his neck. I love him so much and that'll never change. Even if I just met him.
(I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! I love writing about Forest and Holden. They make me hella soft. They're my own characters and they make me soft. Lol! The next chapter will be coming soon)!
