(Ok so in here, Forest is gonna see everything in his house for the first time. Like pictures and everything. I hope you guys will enjoy this)!

   Forest's POV:

While Leela and I walked home, I couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything looked. The trees, the sky, hell even the ground. Leela smiled at what she was hearing. "I'm so happy for you Forest." Leela said. "I hope you will be able to meet your soulmate one day." I said to her. "Hopefully." Leela said. I couldn't stop thinking about the black haired, blue eyed boy who is my soulmate. If my dad found out Holden was my soulmate, he would kill me. I'm gay and closeted. Only Leela and Holden know. My dad isn't supportive of the LGBTQ+ community like my mom was. If he found out, he'd kill me. I'm not gonna tell him that I can see. I'm not gonna tell him about Holden. We eventually got home. I stood outside. Wow. Our house looked really beautiful. It looked like a happy family could live here. Well, a happy family used to live here. My family. It used to be so happy until my mom died. She committed suicide when I was 13. Leela was 15 at the time. Now, I'm 15 and Leela is 17. Mom had depression. Everyone thought that she was happy. She had a life anyone could want. A soulmate, two children, a lovely house, friends. Well, depression doesn't give a fuck who you are. Even if you have a good life, it will still come to haunt you. We eventually walked inside, I prayed that Dad wasn't home. "Please tell me he's not here." I whispered to Leela. "I don't know." Leela whispered back. We stood there for a few minutes. Usually Dad would come downstairs within a few minutes of us being home. "He isn't home!" I said happily. "Thank God!" Leela said breathing a sigh of relief. "He's probably at the bar getting drunk." I said. He does that when he's not home. After we settled, I looked around everywhere. I was amazed when I saw everything. I looked at family pictures on the walls. My parents, Leela, and I were in the pictures. We looked so happy. I looked at another picture of the four of us. Leela and I were about 3 and 5 at the time. I looked at a woman holding me. It was my mom. She was so beautiful. She had dark brown hair and blue eyes. Leela got her eyes from her. I got my hair color from her.

   Leela's POV:

I came around the corner and felt someone there with me. "Forest?" I said unsure. "Yeah Leela it's me. I'm just looking at family pictures." Forest answered. "Oh ok." I said. There was a little silence until I broke it. "Do you see Mom?" I asked. "Yeah. You resemble her a bit. Both of us do." Forest said. "Really? How does she look?" I asked. "She has dark brown hair and blue eyes. She's very beautiful. You have her smile and eyes." Forest answered. I felt so happy that Forest can finally see our mom. I was so happy I resembled her instead of my dad. Then, we heard the door open. Shit.

   Forest's POV:

I looked up the door. A man walked in staggering and slurring his words. He had blonde hair and green eyes. He had bags under his eyes and his eyes were bloodshot. I looked at a family picture. It was my dad. He looked so destroyed and unhappy compared to the family photos of all of us. I almost felt sympathy for him. But I remembered, he abuses me. I have bruises on my face because of him. "Leela? Forest?" He groaned out. "H-Here Dad." Leela stuttered out fearfully. "Where's your brother?" He grumbled out. "Here I am." I said. I was a bit fearful as well. He walked towards me and slapped me across the face. My cheek stung a bit after that. "Leave him alone Dad." Leela said getting me away from him. My dad groaned out but listened as he made his way upstairs. I can't tell Holden about this. Not at all.

(I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter! The next one will be filled with sweetness I promise. See you guys at the next chapter)!
