kennedy sat in the chair with her face in her hands. austin sat in the chair next to her rubbing her back in attempt to calm her nerves.
"he's going to be fine" hero smiled.
the paramedics arrived to the home and had loaded nick onto the ambulance. they wouldn't let anyone hop on with them, because it was an apparent overdose and they didn't want anyone to get hysterical. brandon drove kj to the hospital as soon as everything happened, and the others came after cleaning the house.
"family for nicholas mara" a woman in a white lab coat said.
everyone stood up and circled around the lady in hopes of good news.
"well, it's obviously he has a good support system which is going to be great for his situation. anyways, nicholas did experience an overdose from cocaine, but we were able to hook him up to an IV and take the substance out of his blood flow" she explained.
everyone cheered and let out a gasp.
"as of now, you may give him a quick visit but remember he's still out of it so he's kind of loopy" the doctor smiled before leaving the group.
"did you hear her kj? nicks fine" edwin smiled.
"mhm, i heard. umm i think i'm gonna head home now" she gave a fake smile.
"kj, don't you wanna go see nick?" brandon asked.
"not really feeling up for it, maybe tmr" kj waved bye and made her way down to the lobby.
"kj, wait up" a deep voice called.
"z, you're not gonna stay with nick?"
"na, the guilt would just kill me more than it already is" he purses his lips.
"you gave him the coke?" she asked.
he didn't say anything, just nodded his head. he pulled the keys from his pocket and drove kj home.
"you know he's head over heels for you right? you could literally fuck a guy in front of him and he'd take you back when you're done" zion said.
"it's not that simple, he's had so much time to tell me this himself and he hasn't. i think i deserve someone who can talk to me and not just ignore me z"
"i suppose, i think he's just afraid of making you hate him if he says something wrong." zion shrugged his shoulders.
"i guess i haven't made that easy for him, but i still think he should talk to me instead of choosing to take drugs and forget about all of it" ____________ instagram
