"it's his turn now kj" nate pointed at nick.

nick looked puzzled as nate's little finger pointed at him.

"oh i don't do this chacha" nick shook his head.

"well it's a good thing this is salsa and not the chacha" kj smirked walking over to nick.

"i really don't know ho–"

"relax i'll teach you" her eyes started in his. "take my hand"

nick took down to see her hands face up in front of her. he gripped her hands, and she fixed them. one wrapped around the back of her waist. while the other one stayed holding her hand.

"take a breath"

nick took a deep breathe in a let it out as she told him to.

"pull me close"

nick did as he was told and closed the gap between the two, her body pressed against his.

"take one step"

kj took a step back leading nick to follow.

"keep your eyes aligned to mine, and let the music be your guide" kj smiled.

he hadn't noticed his eyes were staring at the floor trying to follow along.

"i hate this" he laughed.

the two continued dancing as if they were in their own world. just like last night, it was all fun.

"what's going on in here?" zion's voice interrupted the moment.

"we could have used some of this salsa during solita, but someone's white ancestry didn't let their hips move" edwin rolled his eyes looking at austin.

"don't change the subject, what's going on with nick and her huh?" austin diverted ed's comment.

"i was teaching him how to dance, but take it anyway you want" kj tried to answer casually.

all of the boys gave each other looks knowing that wasn't the entire story. nick was hiding something from them.

"okay well if you guys don't mind i'm pretty sure you're not rehearsing in here so adios" kj waved the boys away.

after about ten minute, kj finally got the boys to leave. they were a really cute group with an amazing dynamic. on some real talk, kj had never heard of them. even as individuals not in a band.

she kept dancing alone for another 30 minutes before heading downstairs to the master class. she usually had enough time to go check out the finished product of what the students had learned.

as she approached the room, kj could hear the energy. it was always hype, but today it seemed a little crazier. and when she walked in the class, she knew exactly why.

"AYE, AYE, AYE" the class chanted.

a huge circle had been made surrounding nick and zion. kj knew they could dance but the way nick moved, made her question why he sung and not danced professionally.

"like what you see?" edwin asked.

"he's definitely better at this than he is at salsa" kj laughed.

"hey don't be rude to my fettuccine alfredo" austin snapped his head to face kj.

"hey we're throwing a thing at our place tomorrow after we shoot the music video. you down to pull up?" edwin questioned.

"i'll probably have work to do, but thanks for the invitation" kj smiled.

"at 11pm?"

"i never stop" kj shrugged her shoulders.

"great than you can pull up" ed smiled.

kj redirected her gaze back at nick who had already been staring at her. his checks flushed red, partly because of all the dancing he was doing.

"fine i'll be there" kj said.
