Part 5

(Y/n)'s Pov

I sheathed my blade and ran to Mitsuri's side. I pulled her into a sitting position before I spoke to her.

"Are you okay, Mitsuri? Is anything broken?" I asked in a worried tone. She smiled at me.

"I don't know, but I'm just glad you're safe. You took on one of the twelve demon moons and won. You are amazing." She replied. 

Mitsuri's Pov

(Y/n) tried to help me up, but I still felt a sharp pain when I tried to move my leg, so I fell.

"I guess it can't be helped. I'll just carry you to an inn and we will get you a doctor." (Y/n) said, a blush forming across his face. My face lit up upon hearing those words. (Y/n) was going to carry me to an inn. Checking in would mean going inside, where people would see him carrying me.

Before I could protest, he scooped me up in his arms and we left the forest. It was almost dawn, so we had to wait a while for the inn to open. Once the inn was open, we went inside and (Y/n) checked in for us. He handed me the key and picked me up again. He had me open the door while he was still carrying me, and he set me down on the bed.

"I'm going to see if I can find you a doctor. Do you need anything before I go?" (Y/n) asked. 

"No, I'll be fine. Be safe." I replied. He gave me a smile before leaving. Once I was sure he was gone, I buried my face in a pillow and squealed. (Y/n) carried me in his arms like a princess! He smelled wonderful. Once I had calmed down, I decided to close my eyes and rest. Before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw (Y/n) with a doctor. The doctor examined me, and found that I had torn a muscle. Since we didn't have time to wait for it to heal, I was given crutches. We gathered all our belongings, checked out, and went back to headquarters.
