Part 7

(Y/n)'s Pov

After a month had past, we went to the doctor to see how Mitsuri's injury was doing.

"Well, it seems you're fully healed. Let's take those bandages off." The doctor said.

"That's great, Mitsuri! Now you can get back to your missions!" I said, happy she was healed.

We got back to Mitsuri's house and I started packing up, when there came a knock on the door. Mitsuri opened the door and a black haired man with a snake on his shoulder was there.

"Obanai, how are you." She asked.

"I'm fine, but how are you? I heard you were injured. Is everything okay?" The man asked.

"Yes, I'm fine thanks to (Y/n). He stayed with me until I recovered." Mitsuri replied, gesturing to me.

"Nice to meet you. My name is (Y/n) (L/n). It's nice to meet you." I said, extending my hand. Obanai didn't take it.

"Come with me, I need to talk with you." He said. I decided to go with him. We went around the house to where we could talk in peace.

"Okay, here we are. What do you want?" I asked. Obanai turned around and placed his hand on my shoulder. 

"Listen here. I don't want you anywhere near Mitsuri. Leave right now, and I may let you live." He said, squeezing down on my shoulder. I grabbed his wrist and lifted his hand off my shoulder. 

"Mitsuri is perfectly capable of choosing who she loves for herself. You don't get to tell me or Mitsuri what to do. Not without getting hurt. Do you understand?" I said, squeezing his wrist, causing him to wince in pain. We glared at each other for a bit before Obanai yanked his hand away.

"Fine, but if she chooses me, I want you to leave us alone." Obanai said, still glaring at me.

I went back inside where Mitsuri was waiting.

"What did you two talk about?" She asked curiously.

"Oh, it was nothing. You don't have to worry." I replied. I finished packing up and headed back to Tomioka's house. I went inside and set my stuff down. I was then greeted by Tomioka.

"How did you're mission go? I heard you defeated one of the twelve demon moons." He said.

"Yeah, I did. I met someone incredible that I ended up working with. Her name is Mitsuri Kanroji." I told him.

"I met her a while back. She's incredibly sweet. You'd make a good couple." Tomioka said.

"Wha... what do you mean? You're joking, right?" I asked.

"No, I'm being serious. The Master wants to see us tomorrow. Good night." Tomioka said, getting up and heading to bed.
