(Y/n)'s Pov

Shinobu and Tomioka started fighting while the guy in green ran off with a girl who I realized was a demon.

"Uummm... you know what? Never mind, I'm sure it'll work out." I said before taking a leisurely pace after the guy in green. I walked up to him and saw him pull on Kanao's haori, pulling her away from the demon girl. I heard him shout at the demon girl.

"Run! Make a run for it, Nezuko! Don't get caught! Don't get caught, no matter what!" He said before getting ax kicked in the head by Kanao. That had to hurt. I went and knelt down next to him.

"Hey man, are you okay? This isn't a good place to take a nap." I said while shaking him. He slowly regained conciousness.

"Hey! You're awake! How are you?" I asked, helping him into a sitting position.

"Where is Nezuko? Is she okay?" He asked in a frantic tone of voice.

"If you mean that demon girl, she ran off, away from Kanao." I replied.

"I need to get to her. I need to keep her safe!" He replied.

"No, first you need to rest, at least until you get enough strength to stand. In the mean time, why don't you tell me why you are travelling with a demon?" I said, trying to keep him from moving.

"She's my little sister! I'm looking for a way to cure her. She's been a demon for two years and hasn't eaten anyone!" He said.

"I see. I can't imagine what you've gone through. I wish you luck in your quest to cure your sister, but you need to rest." I said.

"I can't rest! I have to save Nezuko!" He shouted before I heard a crow.

"Take Tanjiro and Nezuko into custody! Tanjiro, a demon slayer with a green checkered haori, Nezuko, a demon girl with a pink kimono and a bamboo muzzle!" It cawed.

"See? You got some rest, and everything worked out. I'm guessing you're Tanjiro. I'm (Y/n). Nice to meet you." I said extending my hand.

"I'm Tanjiro Kamado." He said, shaking my hand. I helped him up and we started walking to headquarters.
