Aria

Silence...

The silence has crept into the limo on the way back home. I laid my head against the headrest, my brothers looked uncomfortably between me and my dad, my mom looked equally anxious on the edge of her seat, while dad was pinching the bridge of his nose trying to control his frustration. He didn't dare ask, he didn't dare accuse me maybe he thought he could avoid the inevitable.

"It's true" I said lowly but it was loud enough for the whole car to hear. I could even hear the driver gasp.

"Well then turn it into a lie" my father seethed his face turning redder by the second.

"Ashton.." my mother tried to intercede but he didn't let her.

"No daughter of mine WILL DATE A MONTGOMERY!!!" Dad started screaming by the end all the veins in his face clearly visible.

"Well she is" I replied calmly "and I don't plan on breaking up with him"

"Aria!"

"I love him, Dad!" I don't know what went through his mind when I admitted that but he went from angry, to confused, too worried, to absolutely petrified in a matter of a second.

"I can't" was all he was able to say "I need to breathe. Stop the car!"

"We're almost home, Ashton it's just a corner away. Stop being such a baby" my mom scolded

When we reached home dad bolted out of the car and stomped inside the house.

"He better not break anything" my mom mumbles going after him.

"Seriously Aria! Of all the people you and that... that" Mason began but I didn't let him finish or wish to hear talk about it anymore, leaving to also go into the house and straight up into my room. I could hear dad screaming in his office on the other side of the house and my mom yelling to him to calm down as I made my way up the stairs. I locked the door behind me once I reached my bedroom. Leaning against the door, I wondered if Xander was having it as bad as I was...

Xander

"You!" My dad held an accusing finger to my face "You lied to us! You tricked us into thinking you that girl dumped you!! Are you happy now?! You've made a mockery out of the Montgomery name!!!"

"Dad" I began but stopped when his fist slammed into the dining table.

"NO!!" His voice roared through the main hall of the house. Daniel and Mom were standing behind my dad while I stood in front of them like a criminal in a courtroom.

"I want you to end this! Call this girl and end it RIGHT NOW!!" Dad demanded

"Not happening" I replied back casually

"Excuse me!!" My dad challenged

"Xavier enough of this stop grilling the boy" my mom came to my defense "seriously who he dates is not for us to choose"

"It is when the Rockwell girl is involved!" My dad yelled "he can date a tree for all I care BUT. NOT. HER!!"

"Have you like hit your head or something" Daniel chimes in "a few months ago you hated this girl's guts now you're head over heels in love with her"

"He's not in love with her!" Dad scolded him good thing Daniel was not within arms distance or my dad would've slapped him too.
