Don't you think it's scary? Maybe we have been saying an anti-monster phrase wrong due to the original language being lost...
And the minority who knows the literal translations are treated as outcasts... and weirdos... not knowing the minority could save them.
What if the world suddenly spoke the same language and people forget their native tongues...
Not knowing that the common phrases were there to protect them...
It could be a terrifying thought in a certain perspective...Since many languages are slowly dying.
It could be horror and the one who was right was the creepy person. The creepy guy speaking the dead language notorious for curse was trying to save them while the rest are trying to stop him.
LET'S MAKE IT WORSE BY HAVING THE CREEPY GUY DIE AND LET EVERYONE ELSE DIE AS A PLOT TWIST!
