Where are the parents' concerns? I get that they're nobles and all but still. Shouldn't a parent actively want to see their child grow up to be a better person than any of them?
This isn't really a universal problem but some stories just end up with "they spoiled their child rotten" and the parents just conveniently barge in at the last moment to punish their child.
It seems to just be really awful parenting. But then again... Villain backstory cliche to have a messed up family to occur.
Anyways...
What if the reincarnated person was born to a family where they think the whole reincarnation thing is mostly... a hoax or a childish fantasy?
And well, the whole genius thing isn't really addressed as a good thing but something to be concerned about, mostly due to the fact they recognized that burn out is something that exists.
They're honestly more concerned about gifted kid burn out than developing the talent.
Like, most reincarnated souls are typically teenagers and I rarely see adults. And even in the case of adults, they don't really show them in a relationship and stuff.
So yeah. Make the parents actually teach them and show good parenting and an actual example of being a decent human being.
Also on a side note, can we actually have a teen who is actually burnt out from school to be reincarnated?
I mean, it's relatable for a lot of people.
But I do wonder how their parents will react to their child looking so bored with life?
If they're decent parents, they really should try to get them help. I mean, they're typically nobles. Surely there would be some connection that can help them cope somewhat, right?
Right?
