The Past

It was june 11 2002 I was 4 years old and I lived with my mom and dad. My dad was always a drug addict and drank a lot. "Elena!!" he yelled from across the room "get your ass over hear now" he yelled again. I ran next to him quietly but suddenly and looked at him "put out your hand" I was scared but did as he asked he took his ciggerette bud out and rubbed it on the palm of my hand I didnt make a sound, because I knew I would get punished for it "Tough Princess aren't you" he lauged with his two rows of yellow teeth showing and rays of alcohol coming off of him. I ran to my room crying for my mom to hurry and come home to keep me away from him, but I knew i could never get away from that monster.
