Jin walks through the almost empty aisle of the grocery store trying to get everything for his sister.
"Aigo" he sighs
He walks further before bumping into the same girl from the hospital looking all drained and exhausted.
"Ms.Im" He manage to say
"Annyeonghaseyo" The girl slightly bowed her head,he too did the same
"You should be at home resting, I'm sorry about your father" He said
"Thank you, I'm here to pick up some ingredients for the wake funeral" She answered
"Don't you have anyone to do that for you? or with you?" He asks
"It was only me and my dad, so no, I don't have anybody" she said lowering her voice
"oh sorry I did not mean to pry" He said
"It's okay, I'll get going now thank you"She bowed and again before strolling her own cart away from Jin.
"Ah Ms. Im, Can I-when and where will be the funeral be held?"He asked without hesitation
"Why?" She asked nervously
"Ah, I want to pay respect" He answered while scratching his nape as he approach her again
"Ahm,next sunday, and I think you can find my address with my dad's hospital records" She answered timidly
"okay, See you and be safe Ms.Im"He said
"You too, Dr" she responded shyly since she never knew his name
"Call me Jin" He said
"Okay, Dr.Jin goodbye and goodnight" She smiled for a little
"Okay,Ms. Im" he said before parting their own ways.
Nayeon arrived back to her house and placed everything on its place before taking a night walk
Nayeon strolled a little more trying to ease her mind.
"I would have to work now, and study at the same time" She says to herself as she reach a bench
"Dad, what happened to you?It doesn't make any sense to me, you were fine before the operation, it was going to make you feel better, not dead" She continued talking,knowing no one could hear her
"Dad, I'll find out what happened to you, I really have to know so I can let go of you fully, and let you rest peacefully"
"I will not stop until I find out" she says her tears steadily building up
"Find out what young lady?" A strong accent lingered in her ear
"Dad's gone" She said knowing it was her friend
"What?" He asked again not believing her
" My Dad is gone Brian!" She screamed and let her tears out finally.
Brian immediately hug her and stroke her back.
"I'm so sorry Nayeon" He continued
the girl continued to cry on his chest.
"let it all out, you'd been alone all day?" He asks but not waiting for her answer
After some time her sobbing stopped.
"Nayeon,let's get you home now okay?" He said
Nayeon only responded with a nod
He guided her, never letting her go from his grip until they reached her house.
"Want me to stay?" He asked as he gave her a glass of water
"Ye-No your mom would be mad" She responded before drinking
"It's fine I'm old enough to make my own decision, I'll be back in 15 minutes okay?" He said as he goes out
"Okay" she whispered.
