"I locked up everything upstairs" Nayeon reassured
"Garage door's closed too" Brian flops down on the sofa
"You know it's amazing how so many people have selective information take in," Nayeon said, scrolling through her phone
"What do you mean?" Brian frowned upon her statement
"The articles about me reached my department at school, they said I was getting a head start in the industry and didn't even bother to share things with them" the girl grunts
"That's crazy dude" Brian looks at her phone screen
"Really? that's all you're gonna say?" Nayeon glared at him
"What? It doesn't matter what they think anyway, don't waste your time on them" Brian reaches for the remote and turns on the tv
"What if they sell me out?" Nayeon blurted
"They won't, if they do, then they themselves will give you a push farther in the industry " Brian winks at her
"Right, so I don't have to be worried about anything" Nayeon sighs and rests her phone next to her
"Yes, and don't you have friends in your department?" Brian brought up
"I do but not like you, I don't spend time with them as much outside the school" Nayeon explains
"And why is that?" Brian asks
"I don't know, I get the feeling that they're intimidated by me" Nayeon shrugs and lays down the sofa
"Oh,yeah,I remember I have a friend in the Psych department, he said you're quite famous in their dept, being an open book but a blank book, they couldn't like- psycho analyze you" Brian gossiped
"You're really something Brian Kang" Nayeon looks at him
"What?" Brian said before finally playing a movie
"A social caterpillar" Nayeon chuckles
"It's "butterfly", social butterfly," Brian said, air quoting
"You ain't a butterfly, you're a worm," Nayeon says nonchalantly
"I'm gonna get some snack first" Brain stood up leaving the girl alone
"UGHHHH Briannnn" Nayeon whines
"What?" Brian pops out of the corner
"Nothing" Nayeon smiles as she turns and rolls herself on the sofa
"Idiot" Brian says and went back to the kitchen "Relax, we're graduating soon and we get to get out of that school" He yells
"Right right, and we'll be working 9-5 jobs me maybe more, I guess I'll get fired or quit from my work here" Nayeon suddenly realised
"Ohhh so we'll be homeless?" Brian asks
"I will be, you can just go back to your parents" Nayeon expressed
"Stay with us then? Like we originally planned" He suggests as he walks back with a tray, ice cream tub and some chips laying on top.
"I don't know Bri" She sits up
"We still have time to decide, don't worry yourself too much" Brian opening the pint of ice cream
"Have you ever experienced work?" Nayeon looks at him
"Yes, I worked at my parent's restaurant a few dozen times, and then there's the OJT we had last year" Brian informed
"Oh gosh your parent's restaurant, I haven't visited in a while," Nayeon says as she takes a spoonful
"Me too, I miss eating their food, wanna go this week?" Brian proposes
"I could never say no to a good meal" Nayeon chuckles
"Alright, I'll tell Dad, you're a hard working person,We'll get a job as soon as we graduate I'm sure of it, you have multiple offers already right? " Brian pats her thigh and opened the tub of ice cream
