144. What's a special place that they hold in their hearts?

Their house. And yeah, that might not count, but it is special. Every item there has a purpose, and Aaron knows his way around the entire house.. what makes it even better is that they were able to keep the house Aaron and Aphmau first bought. It was like Aphmau could recreate all the memories she had with the past memory, even though it was bittersweet.

Garrence
Garroth's mother's house. And it's kind of cheesy, sure, but they've spent so much time there together over the years, and it's like having a home-cooked meal after years of just ramen or tv-dinners. They like house sitting for her because they just cuddle on the coach and watch television. It's a comfortable place for the both of them.

I've mentioned before in another part how when either of them are upset they'll stay awake with each other and take a break from work and go out and get ice cream. I'd like to think that that's their special place: an Italian, relatively small ice cream parlor that's very busy during the day but not so much at night. If it's still open, they'll go and sit and talk it out and then pay whoever's behind the counter at least 30 dollars for dealing with them. They've had a lot of heart-to-hearts there.

Travis' car. Yeah, that sounds kind of lame. But, picture this: 8 hours into a car ride. Heat on, Katelyn curled up in blankets in the passenger seat. She's adorable, Travis thinks, face smushed against the window. He was supposed to wake her up three hours ago. He swerves to the left, avoiding a pot hole so she could continue to sleep. He knows she'll be mad when she wakes up, but he knows he can stay awake longer and wants her to get as much sleep as she wants. Now picture this happening hundreds of times, but Katelyn's never too mad when she wakes up and she kisses him and thanks him like the precious girlfriend she is.

Where they stayed in Italy together for the first time, and the destinations they visited together. It was sort of like a prolonged first date, where you lived with each other, and you had no idea it was a date. Yup. Anyway, they've visited the place since they've gotten together plenty of times.

There's a little park that they like going to that's secluded from the rest of town. People hardly ever go there, but it's a nice place to just be outside and not have to deal with any interruptions. They've had many moments there alone whether it be picnics or whatnot, and it's a special escape from reality for the both of them where they can just be alone.
