Lotus sighed as he steered the boat away from Silver Coast into opens waters to fight so he could save the ones he loved, So they would be able to live free from worrying about if the next day is their last. He knew Candor would be heartbroken for a while, He hoped she would wait for him to get back, or if she would move on to another stallion. Nevertheless Lotus was doing this and if anypony tried to stop him, they would not live.
"Damn this is going to take a while.." Lotus said looking at some maps he found in the boat. He decided Equestria was the first place he should go, it was closest afterall. He began charting his course, and after finishing he set his ship in a direct course to Equestria to finish off the mobsters there, then it would be to Hoofbasa to find who sent an assassin after him.
Lotus made sure the boat would not divert itself off course by jamming a piece of wood into it so it couldn't move, and made hid way below deck to find something to drink, so he hoped. Lotus rummaged barrels and cabinets, finally finding a few bottles of rum.
"Heh nice, just what I wanted." He said to himself grabbing a bottle and biting the cork out with his large fangs. He spit the cork to the side swiftly taking a swig from the bottle enjoying the flavor of the finely aged liquor. He turned making his way back above deck and to the bow leaning on the side of the boat watching the waves. He was strangely calm for somepony who's taking on more than an army most likely, but Lotus had no worry, he knew he had the power for such a large task.
"So you ready for this..." He said outloud but a quick response from an unknown voice responded. "Ahhh of course my friend~" The voice said.
Lotus smirked hearing the response, He hadn't used the power he truly had in a while, a power with the consequence of a voice in Lotus' head, he never questioned who or what it was but he know it gave him immense power.
Lotus sat drinking the bottle of rum as the voice in his head questioned everything they were about to do. Lotus ignored it and continued drinking, watching the great beyond knowing it would only be a day or two before reaching a place he was highly wanted, most likely more than Monsoon. He sighed sitting down leaning against the side of the boat and finishing the rum quickly. He laid down falling asleep thinking of what he should do first when he reached his destination.
