hansol wakes up in a daze.
he feels much better than yesterday, though, so that's a start.
he rolls over in the "chair" and yawns, stretching his rested limbs and closing his eyes. he thinks for a moment, eyes fluttering open to try and find the arm of the chair. he soon finds that it's not there as he jolts upright, a wave of dizziness washing over him and he blindingly tries to search for the arms of the chair. there were no windows in the room, so he was searching in the darkness.
he eventually stops when he tumbles over the side of the bed, catching himself with his hands, emitting a small gasp. he stays still for a few seconds, listening for any signs that seungkwan had woken up, since he knew he wasn't in that chair anymore.
he slowly peeks out over the side of the bed, trying to see seungkwan in the darkness. all he sees is a pile of blankets on the bed, and he hears some light snoring. he lets out a sigh of relief, slumping back on the side of the bed.
he's thinking, oh my god, how did i get there? did i sleepwalk over here? i hope i didn't do anything embarrassing, that would be terrible! was he asleep? ugh, why am i asking myself this? i don't even know the answer...and we're definitely not asking seungkwan! oh my god, what do i do! you know what , you're gonna be okay. we're just gonna pretend this didn't happen.
after his whole internal argument there, he decides that he's going to check if it's morning yet. he slowly gets up, not wanting to make any sound that could wake seungkwan up, and make this whole ordeal much more awkward. he makes him way to the door, cracking it open slightly, and slipping out into the darkened corridor.
he doesn't exactly know his way around the house, and he doesn't really want to disturb his parents, so he decided to go into the first room on the right. the door, also white, had little colorful swirls around the door nob. they faded out as they got closer to the middle of the door, all turning pastel. he opens the door quietly, the door emitting a quiet squeak.
he turns around to survey the room, only to find nothing it in. nothing on the walls, although the wall was a pretty pastel yellow, which made the room a little less dull.
there was a window, though. all hansol needed. he walks over to the window and opens the blinds, only to find that it wasn't exactly dark outside, though there wasn't much light showing.
he sighs as he closes the blinds, standing there contemplating for a few seconds before slowly walking out of the pastel filled room.
now he realizes that there was a bedside clock in that room, so why did he come all the way over here? as he slowly walks back to the room, he thinks about this. why had he come all the way over here? he's using, as an excuse for what he knows is the real answer, that he didn't know it was there at the time.
now, for the more important thoughts.
how did he get in that bed?

"guys, i don't think they're here," minghao says as they approach their starting point for the third time, "we've spend hours looking for them, they're not here and if anyone disagrees with me......well, let's just say it won't be a fun time."
"geez, minghao. no need to be violent." jeonghan says as he leans on a lamp post, his hands crossed over his chest.
minghao rolls his eyes at his snappy remark, choosing to ignore it as he goes to walk over to junhui, who's clueless to everything that's happening.
seungcheol sighs, observing the sun rising slowly, "what do we do?"
"ugh, not this again," jeonghan starts, rolling his eyes, "how 'bout we do what we were all supposed to be doing from the start? yanno, helping everyone flee the city?"
seungcheol gives him a hardening glare, then it softens as he contemplates the suggestion.
"well, okay. we'll do that, it's almost morning anyway." seungcheol says.
"but," soonyoung starts, something around worry in his tone, "what about seungkwan and hansol?"
jisoo gives soonyoung a small smile and says, "they'll be here eventually, don't worry."

jeju island, 05:10 AM
when hansol returns to the room, he sees seungkwan sitting up, yawning, his hair sticking up in multiple directions. hansol stops in the doorway, eyes widening. he doesn't think seungkwan's seen him, though. seungkwan looks around for a moment, before laying back down, the covers swallowing him. hansol lets out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding in.
he lingers in the doorway for a moment, fully prepared for seungkwan to get right back up and see him.
it's a few minutes later that he realized he's not getting back up. he walks in slo-motion, hearing seungkwan's quiet snores from under the blanket. he about to climb in the bed when he hears some rustling from the other side of the bed. he ignores it. mistake.
he lays down in slo-motion too, not bothering to look behind him. he finds a comfortable position, and is just about to close his eyes when he hears the rustling again. he suspects it's just seungkwan again, trying to find a more suitable position, but he turns around anyway.
surprised is an understatement when he sees seungkwan staring at him from under his cave of blankets.
"hey," he starts, and hansol can hear the smirk in his voice, "whatcha doing?"
