Chapter 7: The Battle Has Only Begun

Yui's P.O.V

"Good to see you again Yui Murasaki," Zabuza said.

"I'm sorry.. Do I know you?" I asked.

"So you don't remember when we crossed paths with eachother. Back then you were with-"

"I remember now." I said cutting him off. I could see Kakashi Sensei looking at me from the corner of his eye.

"Wait until I tell him his precious little test subject is here." He then said laughing

"I'm afraid that won't happen, and I'll finish you off before you can." I said pulling out my twin katanas and launched for an attack. Kakashi Sensei then stopped me just as things were about to get good.

"I'll deal with him." He said blocking me,"You guys protect Tazuna and stay out of this battle, I taught you guys teamwork, now's the good time to use it."

Kakashi Sensei then lifted his headband that usually covers his eye, revealing a Sharingan. He's not even an Uchiha... So how? I noticed the change in Sasuke's expression.

"Looks like I get the honour of seeing the Sharingan up close again." He said probably meaning the opposite. His sword then pulled itself from the tree and it flew straight into his hands.

"Prepare yourself Kakashi.. For Zabuza Momochi, Demon of the Mist."

Kakashi Sensei and Zabuza engaged in a battle and I had was to stay there guarding some old man and do nothing.

"Water Style: Giant Vortex Jutsu!" I heard Kakashi's voice say after a long time since they were fighting.

"What! How?" Zabuza shouted in frustration. He probably was about to use that same Jutsu and Kakashi beat him to it. Sure the Sharingan was great and all but it wasn't all that great to tell the future and trust me I tried. Kakashi Sensei was just messing with Zabuza's head.

Water started to swirl aiming for Zabuza and Naruto and I had was to grab on to a nearby tree not to get swept away by it. I was soaking wet after.

"I'm soo gonna get back at you for this Kakashi Sensei!!!" I shouted.

"Ha, did I do that?" He asked smiling nervously giving me an anime vein.

Zabuza bashed into the tree from the force of the water and Kakashi threw three kunai and pinned his clothing to it.

"How?" Zabuza asked,"Can you see into the future?"

Kakashi was on a stone above him and replied "Yes and this is the last battle you'll ever take part in." And of course that was a lie. Just as Kakashi was about to finish him off, Zabuza screamed and slumped to the ground.

"What the-" Kakashi exclaimed.

I ran towards them and checked behind his neck and there were needles sticking out. "He's got no vital signs." I said 'needles? I know someone who fought with needles... But who?' I thought to myself,'Man I forget the most important things.'

"It could be a trick. I'll finish him off just incase and make sure he's dead." I said getting ready jab my sword into him until someone grabbed my hand with a slight chuckle.
He was wearing a mask but he was staring at me. But then again I stared back at him. This was getting 'Akward'.

"That won't be necessary" he said with his voice as smooth as silk, almost like a woman's,"and I guess you were right, this was his last battle."

I didn't like being restrained... I never did. I yanked my hand from his grip and the rest of the team showed up looking at the stranger, but for some reason it didn't feel like this was the first time I met him. His eyes kept meeting mine like if he knew who I was.... I didn't like it then he bowed his head.
