Yui's P.O.V
"Ha! Now that I'm here everything's gonna be alright." Naruto said.
"Naruto!" Sakura cheered
"You in stories the hero shows up at the last minute and then kicks butt, well that's what I'm gonna do right now! Believe it!" He said cockily.
"That's great and all Naruto but you do know......" I got cut off by Naruto's voice.
"Alright! You're history. Shadow clone jutsu!" He shouted but before he could start, Zabuza threw three shuriken in Naruto's direction.
"No!....Naruto move!" Kakashi Sensei shouted but it was to late.
Right when they were about to hit him, Haku thew his needles to stop them just in time.
"They didn't get him." Sakura said.
"The weapons cancelled each other out, amazing. Now that's what I call lucky I think." Tazuna muttered.
"What are you doing Naruto! Are you crazy?!" Sakura yelled.
"This is a battlefield not a talent show! Don't let your opponent see your jutsu." Kakashi sensei scolded him," A shinobi's art is deception, always keep the enemy guessing. Even when executing a single jutsu, one must distract their opponent's attention, catch them off balance and out maneuver them. You just turned yourself into a human target when you entered a battle like that." That made Naruto freak out.
"Ahhhh I'm sorry! I was just tryna save everybody!" He screamed holding his head.
"Hmm. But there's another mystery here." Kakashi said making us all look at Haku.
"Haku what are you doing?" Zabuza asked.
"Come on Zabuza. Surely by now you must know that Haku is too soft." I said.
"Well Haku?"
"Zabuza. This boy, let me fight him my own way." Haku said.
"Bring it on!" Naruto said.
"Hmm. So you want me to leave this to you? Is that it Haku?" Zabuza said probably contemplating on what I said earlier,"As usual. You're to soft."
"Forgive me." Haku pleaded.
"I warned you. One way or another I'm gonna rip off that mask!" Naruto said pointing at him,"That mask and that bogus story! You were with Zabuza all along. You think you could get away with that!"
"I'm sorry but as your Sensei said. Deceiving your opponent and catching them off gaurd. That is the art of a shinobi. Please don't take it personally" Haku said.
'As usual. He's apologizing to the enemy. No wonder why I had the urge to beat him up so badly the last time.' I sighed.
Sasuke threw him kunai at Haku but he dodged it without even looking.
"I haven't forgotten about you. Not for an instant." He said,"Some warriors accept defeat gracefully, they know when they're beaten. Others do not, so be it. Let us finish our battle then, to the death!"
"Hey where ya goin!" Naruto shouted as Haku walked past him.
"It's alright Naruto. We'll have our fight next." Haku then merged into the mirrors once again.
His reflection showed up on all the ice mirrors and he started throwing needles from all directions. Sasuke was getting injured so I started blocking them for him. Several needles still managed to cut my hands and legs but I didn't stop.
'I hope the others are thinking what I'm thinking. If Naruto attacked the mirrors from outside and Sasuke and I did it from the inside then-' my thoughts were interupted.
"Hey, I snuck in here to save you guys." Naruto said making both Sasuke and I jump," Pretty cool move huh?"
"Naruto please stop talking before I have the urge to kill you even more." I said facepalming.
"Ugh. You're a complete loser! You're a shinobi, you're supposed to think before you move." Sasuke shouted.
"What the heck are your guys problems. You should thank me for coming in here and to help you." Naruto shouted back.
"Naruto if you're inside here...urghh.. Forget it! I've had it with your mistakes!"
"And I've had it with your attitude!" Their quarreling made me laugh so hard. I couldn't contain myself anymore.
Sure I was pissed at Naruto for his lack of intelligence but that was just to funny.
"That's it! I'm gonna destroy these mirrors right now!" Sasuke said making some handsigns.
"Hey what attack are you using?" Naruto asked.
"These mirrors are made of ice right? So how do you destroy ice? Figure it out."
"Simply what he's trying to say is that he's going to use-" I said.
-"Fireball jutsu!"
-"Fireball jutsu...." We managed to say at the same time.
A huge ball of fire came out from Sasuke's mouth onto the ice mirrors but nothing happened.
"Whoa Yui. How did ya know he was gonna use that jutsu? Could you read minds and stuff?" Naruto asked.
"No Naruto. I-I just knew the handsigns that's all." I said looking away.
"But either way. That didn't do anything at all!" Naruto shouted.
"You're going to need much more heat than that to melt this ice." Haku said.
The ice then started glowing and it threw us all back.
"Where is he? Where are his needle attacks coming at us from?" Naruto asked,"Are they clones? We gotta find the real one. Which one is it?"
"Look into to every mirror as hard as you like. You'll never learn the secret." Haku said.
"Oh yeah well.. Shadow clone jutsu!" Naruto said and his clones appeared.
"No! Don't" Sasuke shouted.
"You've got a hundred mirrors! Then a hundred of me will smash them all! Then I'll find who you really are." Naruto and his clones leaped to attack the mirrors but then Haku disappeared and reappeared from them and attacked Naruto.
All his clones disappeared in a puff of smoke and Naruto fell to the ground.
"Naruto!" I shouted helping him up.
"These mirrors only reflect my image, allowing me to transport myself at light speed. Through my eyes you appear to be moving in slow motion." Haku said calmly.
"I couldn't break through, so what! He's not gonna stop me! I'm not giving up and I'm not gonna lose here. Cause I have a dream and no one's gonna take it away from me. Someday I'll be respected in my village, that's my dream! To be the greatest Hokage!" Naruto said.
There was a long pause of silence. As if Naruto's words brought back a memory to Haku until he spoke up.
"It was not my desire to be a shinobi. It's painful, I don't want to kill you but if you advance I will have no choice. Then I would kill the kindness in my own heart and fully embrace the shinobi way and there will be no mercy, no turning back. This bridge is the battle where our dreams collide and I will fight for mine, just as you fight for yours. Please don't blame me. I fight for someone precious to me, I live for him and I face death for him so that his dream will become reality. That is my dream and for the sake of that dream, if I must I will act as a shinobi and take your lives."
