Chapter 6: I'm not crazy! Right?

Kakashi's P.O.V

"Are you in position?" I asked my team through a communicator.

"Yep"

"I'm ready"

"Mmhm"

There was a long silence and I had already known that the one who didn't reply was Yui. She can be quite an airhead at times.

"Yui?" I asked

"What?!" She spat, she sounded angry," I mean I'm ready,"

"Alright then..... Go!" I commanded and they sprang into action.

There was a lot of struggle going on in the background who I'm sure was Naruto.

"Target confirmed," Sasuke said.

"Looks like Mission: Find the Lost cat is completed" I said walking over to them.

The cat tackled and scratched Naruto and Sakura giggled at that sight, Sasuke looked bored as usual and Yui wasn't paying attention. Well she never pays attention but this was different. She looked bothered and upset.

-Yui's P.O.V-

I really couldn't care less what was going on. I was frustrated, I couldn't find what I was looking for and I spent the whole night looking for it but it was no use. Giving up isn't an option though, it has to be here somewhere for sure. Then....then maybe I'll finally know the truth.....Mom, I promise.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Naruto's shouting.

"Nuh uh.. I want a different kind of mission!" He whined.

I couldn't blame him though. We've been on useless missions ever since like pulling out weeds, walking dogs etc. But as easy as they were, Naruto managed to fail every, single one of them. What was more shocking though was that the Hokage actually agreed to Naruto's request and we were given a C-rank mission to escort a bridge-builder, back home.
Oh and how our client is just the sweetest thing on Earth.

"I'm supposed to entrust my life to you kids? How are you even ninjas?" He said while taking a sip of his drink.

Kakashi Sensei had was to hold Naruto back. "Especially that midget. He looks likes a complete imbecile" he continued.

Naruto then stopped and turned to me."Haha you're the midget Yui," he said

"Yeah I'm shorter than you Naruto but notice the key words like 'he' and maybe he's referring to the one with the stupid look on his face." I said and everyone looked down at Naruto and that made him flip out again.

"You're not supposed to kill the man you were assigned to protect." Kakashi Sensei said holding Naruto back again.
"My name is Tazuna and you will protect me with your lives." He said.

"As if." I scoffed.

I couldn't take it anymore Naruto and Tazuna kept getting into meaningless fights, The walk was taking forever and if anyone didn't notice that Sasuke still isn't talking to me for who knows what.

The sun was so hot, I felt like if I could have bathe in the puddle in front of me. Wait? What is a puddle doing hear anyway? There was no rain. Kakashi Sensei looked down at Sasuke and I and told us that he knew and to ignore it.
Then two ninjas appeared out of the puddle wrapping their chains around Kakashi Sensei and slicing him to bits. They then were heading for Sakura and Tazuna but Sasuke protected them, fighting with the ninjas and I had to admit he was pretty good.

Two of the jumped towards Naruto, probably looking for the weakest link.Sasuke managed to save Naruto although he got injured on his hand.One of them then targeted me. He jumped reaching out his claws at me but I caught them and squeeze them until they were crushed. My hands were bloody after that and he laughed.
