Part 14

Oooooh this is the longest chapter so farrrrrrrr, I hope y'all enjoy it!!

"Again!" Jongho yells as he picks himself off the ground, wiping the dirt and grass off of his shirt. Mingi nods before charging at him, swinging his balled up fist at Jonghos jaw. Jongho ducks, kneeing Mingi in the stomach causing him to stumble and lose his balance.

"Shit that hurt." Mingi groans out at he stands up straight, clutching his stomach when a wave of pain courses through him.

Ever since Selenes visit everyone has been sparring or training with their powers, Hongjoong mostly spared at night, seen as he gets his power from the sun, they wanted to see if his reflexes would be just as fast when the sun set and the moon was rising.

The hardest ones to teach were Yunho, Faith, and Seonghwa. They've never had to prepare for anything like this their entire lives, but they wanted to do this. They wanted to help.

When they were beginning lessons their lovers were nervous and almost rejected the idea of them joining, but they pushed that thought aside when Faith said, "We're doing this for all of your parents, I know you would do the same thing if any of you were in our shoes."

Wooyoung and Jongho worked on training everyone mainly, San spared with Celestial for the most part. He learned to put his fear aside for the sake of this mission, he knows it's not going to be an easy one but he's not going to back down. With Celestial being able to control water and San fire it made sparring fun for they couple.

"Really Celestial? You just couldn't resist could you?" San asks as he moves his soaked bangs out of his face.

"You said you were sweating cause you were burning up, I was just helping you!" Celestial says in defense, San just stared at her, he was currently soaked head to toe because Celestial dropped a yoga ball sized ball of water on him.

"Can you two stop playing around and actually focus?!" Mingis deep voice booms out at them causing Celestial to jump.

"Sorry Mingi-"

"Oh shut up and get back to work." Mingi says harshly cutting Celestials speech, San raises his brows and sets his jaw as he walks forward.

"Excuse me? What gives you the right to talk at her like that?" Mingis attention locks on San as he walks towards him, his finger jabbing in Celestials direction.

"If it wasn't for her Yunho wouldn't be fighting! It's her fault all of this has happened, she brought her pathetic daddy issues here! Poseidon was right she pathetic!"

"He agreed to help Mingi, we all did! What's happening to her father isn't her fault either, and there has barely been any drama with her father! And if anyone is pathetic around here it's you!" San yells out as he pushes Mingis hand away.

Mingi growls as he pushes San back, "Back off San! You're only protecting her because you're whipped for her."

San snarls at him, "No Mingi I'm protecting her cause I know how bad your temper can get!" San gets pushed back again resulting in him pushing Mingi in return.

Mingi balls up his fist swinging it at San, watching as San stumbles back once he connects with his jaw. San charges, his fist connecting with his right eye.

"San stop!" Celestial calls out running forward, San looks behind him watching as Jongho grabs her by the waist to stop her. While he's distracted Mingi grabs his shoulders turning him to face him, he raises his knee up loving the groan the leaves Sans lips as he connects his knee with Sans stomach.

The latter bends over as pain radiates through his abdomen, not having time to think as Mingi lands a powerful punch to his cheekbone. Celestial cries out at she watches the scene play out in front of her, trying her best to wiggle out of her cousins grip.

She closes her eyes once she realizes there's only one way Jongho will let her go, "I'm so sorry Jongho, forgive me.." Jongho looks at her wish a confused facial expression, his mouth opening to reply but his words are cut off when Celestial throws her head back harshly.

Jonghos grip on her vanishing as he brings his hands up to cup his nose, Celestial not waisting a second as she darts forward. Upon reaching them she grabs Mingis arms to pull him off of San, crying out when an elbow connects with her cheek. When she went to get him off of San Mingi yanked his arms from her grip, swinging his elbow back.

She falls to the ground, her hand flying up to her cheek as tears cascade down her cheeks. She winces when someone grabs her hand, "Let me look." Jonghos soft voice says.

"Celestial-"

"Shut it Mingi!" Jongho yells at him, across the fortress Yeosang heard her scream from his cabin. He drops the tray of food he made for everyone before rushing to Seonghwas and Hongjoongs cabin, boy oh boy did he regret sending Mingi to get them for lunch.

"Hwa!!" Yeosang calls out as he rushes to the cabin, already seeing him step out with a confused look on his face.

"What's wrong?"

"Celestial. I heard her scream." Yeosang manages to get out as he pants since his cabin was the furthest from Seonghwas and Hongjoongs.

"Fuck we shouldn't have taken a break!" Seonghwa runs forward, he calls out for Celestial a few times cursing when he doesn't get an answer back.

When he reaches them he sees San landing a particularly hard punch to Mingis stomach causing him to fall the the ground. "San what are you doing?!"

"Mingi and I got into a fight, during the fight Celestial tried to pull him off of me and..." San trails off, looking at the ground.

"And what San?" San gestures towards Jongho and Celestial who are sitting on the ground, Jongho shushing her as she cries into his shoulder.

"Celestial?" Upon hearing her brothers soft voice she looks up, she watches as the worried look in his eyes vanish and get replaced by anger.

"Who did that?" His tone is stern and low as he points to the bruise that's already forming on her cheek, she looks towards Jongho not wanting to answer her brother.

"It was Mingi, she tried to break up the fight and his hit her on accident-" Jongho tries to explain but it's to late, his eyes widen as he watches Seonghwa land punch after punch to Mingis stomach and face.

"Seonghwa stop!" Hongjoong yells out as he runs up, everyone else following him.

Yunho gasps at his lovers state, "What is wrong with you Hwa?!" He yells out as Hongjoong pries his boyfriend off of Mingi.

"Getting even! He hurt Celestial, I'll be damned if my little sister gets hurt by that baboon just because she's was trying to stop a fight! He was way out of line!"

Yunho feels like he was punched in the gut, all the air leaving his lungs as he looks at his lover. "Did you really do that?"

Mingi spits blood onto the ground before looking at Yunho, he nods his head softly. "It was an accident-"

"That doesn't matter!" Yunho yells cutting of Mingi before he can finish, "How did this fight all start?"

San begins to fill everyone in piece by piece, Celestials grip unconsciously tightening on Jongho. She flinches when she feels someone touch her back, relaxing when she smells her brothers perfume.

"Mingi you were out of line, you were one of the first people to agree to this! You haven't fought me about me joining but now you magically have a problem with it?" Yunho hisses through gritted teeth, Mingi doesn't reply instead he gets up and walks to his cabin.

Yunho sighs shaking his head, not following after him to give him time to cool off. He decides to go sit by Seonghwa, watching as everyone else does the same. He kisses the crown of her head before telling a joke to lighten the mood, it works everyone burst out laughing.

San hisses grabbing his stomach, "I don't need to laugh." He says with a chuckle, he smiles as he watches Celestial pull away from Jongho a small smile on her face.

"Sorry about your nose Jongho.." Jongho chuckles, shaking his head before telling her he's completely fine.

Pulling her up to stand he smiles at her, he chuckles again, "You have a hard head though, cause man that hurt!"
