Midnight Storm (Ateez)

Part 15

This chapter is shorter than the others because I'm a busy bean but I wanted to get something out to you guys!! I love y'all and I hope y'all enjoy this chapter~~

Throughout the night Celestial did nothing but toss and turn, she's surprised she didn't wake San with how much she was moving around. Sighing she slips out of bed walking straight for her closet, pulling out a backpack and some weapons San made just for her.

She tries her best to be as quiet as possible as she tugs on some black skinny jeans, removing her baggy shirt she replaces it with a form fitting maroon v-neck. She grabs her black leather zip up boots and some socks before walking towards the bathroom, once she's fully dressed she grabs her thigh harness from her bag strapping it around her leg before slipping in a few daggers.

"Where do you think you're going?" Celestial freezes when she hears Sans voice, turning her head to the side slowly she sees him leaning against the doorway of the bathroom.

"To fix this, I need to find out what's happening to my father. Mingi was right, I did bring my daddy issues here. I refuse to put everyone here in danger because of my problems, I'm going and you can't stop me San."

She grabs her brush from the side, brushing is back and tying it up in a pony tail. She grabs the necklace from her mother and slips it on, as well as the bracelet from her father. Maybe just maybe if he was her wearing it it would help snap him out of the horrible state he's in.

The words that leave Sans mouth surprise her, "Oh I'm not going to stop you I'm going with you, and you can't stop me~" she smiles as he mocks her playfully as he walks away to get dressed.

"Before we leave we'll stop my my work station to pick up a few things, you look sexy by the way." She rolls her eyes at the compliment from her lover, shaking her head before grabbing her jacket off of the bathroom door.

San stands at the foot of her bed wearing black skinny jeans and a black sleeveless shirt, slipping on a jacket before tugging his shoes on. "Ready?"

Holding her hand up she rushes to the kitchen grabbing a pen and a piece of paper to write a note to her brother, "We'll have to be careful since Hongjoong trains at night."

Agreeing San takes her hand in his once she's finished, slipping out the cabin effortlessly they quickly make their way over to his work station.

"Here take this," a harness is handed to her, different sized sheathed daggers looped all throughout it. She raises her brows before slipping it on, San adjusting how tight it should be around her waist before helping her put her jacket on to conceal it.

"Alright lets go." San whispers to her, a quick but passionate kiss is shared between the two before they walk out of the fortress blending into the shadows of the night.

Seonghwa paces back and forth, Celestial hasn't shown up for training today and he was worried. Sighing he heads to her cabin knowing she would never be late especially since San stayed the night with her.

"You ok Hwa?" Jonghos voice stops him, he shakes his head looking at the younger. "No I'm worried about Celestial, she hasn't shown up for training yet."

"I'll go with you." They walk side by side, their pace quicken when they see her cabin.

Seonghwa knocks as soon as he reaches the door frowning when he hears no noice coming from inside, taking a deep breath he wraps his hand around the knob turning it, pushing the door open. He frowns deeply when he's met with silence, seeing no sigh of the couple whatsoever. Him and Jongho look all around, checking every inch for them.

"H-Hwa.." Jonghos voice wavers from the kitchen, upon entering Seonghwa sees him holding a piece of paper and a single tear rolling down the youngers cheek.

Seonghwa slowly walks to him, taking the paper in his own shaky hand. He feels tear well up in his eyes as he reads the note from his sister, his heart sinking to the pit of his stomach.

Hwa..

I'm so sorry I left but this is something I need to handle, I can't bare the thought of you getting hurt, any of you. San came with me, he insisted on doing so.

Hwa I can't let you get harmed, let alone anyone else because what's happening to my father. This is my way of protecting all of you. If anything happens to me along the way just know that I love you. You're by far the best big brother anyone could ever ask for, thank you for always being there for me when I needed you the most.

I must go now, the journey ahead of us is a long one. Please tell everyone I love them and that I thank them for everything they have done for me.

Seonghwa feels his knees give out from beneath him, sobbing loudly as he holds the note close to him. Jongho pulls the older male to his chest, his sobs muffled by the material of Seonghwas shirt as he buries his face in his shoulder.

"She can't do this!" He yells out startling the younger.

"S-She ca-can't..." his voice trails off as he stands running out of the cabin to inform the others, Jongho right on his tale.
