I have ADD/ADHD

I'm a walking contradiction
I'm Driven, but lazy
Smart, but stupid
Clever, but clumsy
Social, but awkward,
And energetic, but tired
I have ADD/ADHD that's okay

I never am in one place
I do thing, but never finish
Be thing, but barely act it
Fight things, but follow it
Watch things, but never listen
Remember things, always never forget

The big one is the system
Not being made for us
Always have high standards
But we always have bigger plans

3x more likely to start our own business
While others are busy following their dreams
While we make our own reality come true,
but never planned such success

For all told, stop talking
For all talking, start listening
We need emotional support
But professional help
Keep us company
But let us relax
Talk to us
But remind us to listen

We see
We hear
We taste
We smell
We feel
EVERYTHING 1000% more (partial HSP)

We know
We seek
We shriek
We leak
We need
We want
We help
And opportunities show
While needed ones don't...

Struggle we have
System changes are a must
Times are changing ever so quickly
So should the system
It's too old for all of us
These standards must change now

Not attention is short
It's the lack of stimulation is caused
by overloading dopamine
None are there when needed most

We were wronged
By false words
By mean stereotypes
An explanation must be heard

One reason I must say
I say again
Be there please
We need the support
Standards must change
To explain it all
