I hid
I cried
Despite all
I love and I fight

As real as it may be
Never once prepared for reality
Thought of the chances that may happen
Can't tell what's trustworthy no more

Sake of sight
Fright in light
Delight falls dull
Can't reason no more

I try to talk and nothing comes out
I try to sing and sorrow floods the room
Ones deemed a model crashed down
Power powers them
Timid as I seem
A hidden force to be reckon with

I stand with family
Tell them it's okay
They know what's up
Likewise vise versa

I hid
I cried
Despite all
I love and I fight
