we spent the night poking fun at each other, eating pizza, drinking soda and making jokes; not even paying attention to the movies playing on the screen.
the night felt odd but i was enjoying myself. i thought everything was getting better. i thought...

levi leaned in to me and planted a quick kiss on my temple. "hey, i gotta piss. where's the bathroom?" he asked.

"very nice." i grimaced at him. "just head up the stairs and turn right. it'll be the first door on your left."

"alright, i'll be quick." he said, rushing off.

"remember to wash your fucking hands!" i yelled at him while laughing as he turned around to scrunch his face at me, chuckling.

a brief moment of silence filled the air once levi had gone.
"so... you and levi, huh?" aksel nudged me with his elbow.

"uhmm, yeah... i- i guess so.." i laughed, rubbing my arm.

"you've barely even known each other," he looked over at me.
i knew that aksel was starting to get serious and 'being serious' was just not his style. i knew he was worried about me and i get it. i appreciate him (and alex... sometimes) so much and all he wants is the best for me. when searching his eyes, i saw a sense of sadness in them and it hurt me. i know that he knows there isn't something right. but my heart's telling me otherwise.

"i know, i know.. but there's just something different about him. i dunno. besides, it kinda just happened. the thing you walked into when you guys first arrived - i didn't mean for it to happen.. it just did."

"right.." aksel responded. "anyway, i've been meaning to ask you. you know how vidcon's coming up?"

"yeah.." i slowly said. "i didn't come last year and i won't come this year either." i said, reaching over to the coffee table in front of us for my glass of soda.

"c'mon, y/n! please, just come with us. you know the fans have been asking about you - the fans wanna see their grandma." he grinned.

i took a sip. "look, you know i love your fans but i just feel uncomfortable with having that kind of exposure online. i said this last year and i'll say it again this year and the next however many years after that. i don't create content like you guys do so it just doesn't make sense for me to go out there with you guys."

"THE FANS, Y/N. THE FANS. THINK ABOUT THE FANS."

"THEY'RE NOT MY FANS, EGGHEAD. I'VE BARELY EVEN BEEN IN YOUR STREAMS AND VIDEOS."

he placed his hands on my shoulders and squeezed gently. "and they already love and miss you. now, come to vidcon. they think you're fucking dead."

i looked over at alex who didn't seem to be paying any attention since he was scrolling through on his phone. i sighed, finally giving in. maybe it will be fun. "okay..."

"YES, HOLY SH-"

"BUT-" i interrupted aksel. "i'll only come if levi can."

at the sound of his name, alex's eyes shot up and looked at me. "what?" he said with a slight grimace.

"guys, c'mon. for most of the time we'll be there, you guys will be out meeting fans and other friends and stuff. i need someone to keep me company. hey, at least i'll be coming along!"

aksel looked over to alex with a questioning look which he responded with a wide-eyed expression that just yelled 'NO'.
aksel looked back to me and sighed. "fuck it. let's do it."

"aksel... we're not letting that guy come along with us," alex said sternly.

"dude c'mon. it's the only way y/n will come. just let her invite him."

"there's no way in hell! there's something off about him," alex suggested.

"what the hell's that supposed to mean?" i spoke up to him.

"alex." i knew inside that aksel agreed with him. "stop being such a fucking prick." aksel started to raise his voice, almost like he was pleading. "let the damn woman bring him along."

the energy in the room went downhill quickly as the two boys bantered at each other, fighting over whether i was allowed to have someone be with me to keep me company or not. fucking ridiculous if you ask me.
the two went on for what seemed like ages and i had never seen them fight like this before. whenever they'd argue like this, it never was a real argument. they're jokesters. the only arguments i had heard which were somewhat serious was whether a song they had listened too was good or not. but this was different - and it was because of me. it was horrid hearing their voices raise to levels i had only ever heard when they were laughing- throwing out jokes back at forth. hearing them shout like this in a serious manner worried me.

ahhhh!! i'm so sorry that it has taken me so long to update this story. i don't really know what to write about in between important parts and i just haven't had the same motivation that i had before to write.
with that being said, i still want to continue this story because as i said before, i've got some stuff already planned for it :)

anyway, there was more that was supposed to happen in this part but it just got wayyy too long so i had to cut it into two parts
