Everyone looked down at Dick. "Why wouldn't we have completed it?" La'gaan asked. He was the only member to not like Nightwing. "I don't really know. But that's how simulators work, right? You finish the mission, you go back." Dick finished shakily. Wally gently squeezed Dick's hand. "Let's ask another question. How haven't we completed the mission?" Conner asked.

"Maybe it's something to do with the guy? We were told to get the captive to safety. With this guy on the loose still, the stimulator might count it as still in danger." Wally suggested. Dick was shaking, burning up while being freezing at the same time.

Wally pulled Dick to his side, wrapping an arm around Dick's shoulders. Dick closed his eyes, trying not to think too much. His head hurt when he thought too much. He didn't mind the team being there. He knew they just wanted to help him.

"How are we supposed to catch a guy that teleports?" Bart asked. "The same way he caught Nightwing. Surprise. We can use the metahuman cells, the chains cancel out any powers. Get him there, unable to go anywhere, then Nightwing is safe, and the simulation ends." Kaldur declared. "What about Nightwing?" Wally asked.

"Whoever this is clearly went after him. We might be able to use him as bait." Conner shrugged. Wally glared at the clone. "Maybe when he's able to defend himself better. But right now he's too sick." "We may not have a choice." Aqualad said. "No is no. Do you think any of us could risk this? Being that sick, then purposefully putting yourself in danger? I'm not going to let him do that. I can feel him shaking. He's constantly flipping between hot and cold, and he's barely been like this for more than five minutes. How in the world if he supposed to defend himself?"

"M'gann, is it normal for mental sicknesses to move that fast?" Bart asked. "Yes. It moves in very fast, but it takes a while to recover from it. A week at least." She shrugged. Her hands were clasped to her chest, and she was rubbing her wrist. Dick's breathing was becoming worse, the small shakes becoming audible. Wally was quickly becoming worried.

"What other option do we have? He's clearly struck after Nightwing. That's our best bet." Conner argued. "It may be our best bet, but it's not the safest. We don't put a team member in danger when they can't do anything about it. We never have, and the League never has. Why should we start now?" Wally argued back, getting slightly overprotective. They were trying to put his boyfriend in a position to be taken again.

Dick shifted, panting. It was too hot. Then it was freezing. His head felt like it was splitting apart. Wally was a comfort, holding him softly. He could have arguing. Something was making Wally mad. He could feel the anger coming from his boyfriend.

"How else are we supposed to catch this guy?" Conner yelled, hands curled. This guy had barely been on the team, and Wally was already making trouble for him. "The mission said get him to safety. There is another way." "What ways?" "Get him to Earth. Find a safehouse, Batman has plenty of them. Hide him until we can catch the idiot trying to take him. I'm not using him as bait in this condition!" Wally yelled back, anger making his vibrant green eyes glitter with danger.

"That's enough, both of you! The mission can be solved without fighting. Conner, Kid is right. If we can get Nightwing to a safehouse, that may be enough. Kid, calm down. We will not endanger a member of this team without their consent. Now both of you back. Off." Kaldur shouted, stepping between the arguing heroes. Wally huffed and turned his attention back to Dick, nuzzling into his soft hair.

Dick groaned, eyes fluttering open. "It's ok, Wing. Go to sleep." Dick grabbed Wally's hand shakily, entwining their fingers. "Don't fight. Please." He whispered, peering up at Wally. "We've got it solved. We won't fight. I promise." Wally whispered back.

Conner immediately realized why Wally was being so protective. He realized there were times where Nightwing was like a child, needing affection and protection. Not because he was immature, but because he had lacked that his early life. Right now, when he was badly sick, Nightwing was in that child mindset. Wally was scared that Nightwing would get hurt.
