The first time Dick had woken up for more than thirty minutes, Wally had nearly cried in relief. His boyfriend was ok. He was getting better. He'd been able to wake after one particularly bad hallucination. That hallucination had terrified Wally, but Dick seemed to be over whatever he saw.

Wally had helped Dick into the bath, washing Dick's hair. Wally didn't know why, but it was calming to him. Dick hummed as Wally scrubbed the suds into existence; Wally's gentle movements making him drowsy. Dick took some of the bubbles and put them on Wally's nose, giggling. Wally nearly melted at the sound of that laugh.

After the bath, Wally carried Dick to the bed. Dick had shivered, leaning into Wally. The air was cold, Wally was warm. Dick chose Wally. Wally couldn't take much more of the cuteness. He was going to explode.

All Wally had in his closet were clothes that were too big for Dick. The Batfamily was on a mission, and Dick was staying at Wally's apartment. Dick was fine with whatever Wally gave him, so he ended up in red and white striped pajamas, the sleeves covering his hands and the pant legs covering his feet. Dick flapped the sleeves, and Wally couldn't stand it anymore.

He carefully tackled Dick, pinning him to the bed. Dick opened his mouth to say something, but Wally started placing kisses on Dick's face. Dick start laughing, trying to push Wally off. It only renewed Wally's efforts, and he kept kissing Dick's face.

"Wally, c'mon, stop! It tickles." Dick laughed, pushing on Wally's chest. "I can't stop myself, babe. You are too adorable. Can't contain myself around all the cuteness." Wally said, moving to tickle Dick's sides. Dick started laughing harder, kicking to try and stop Wally.

Wally eventually stopped, and Dick panted. "You gotta be careful, Walls. M'fragile." Dick giggled. "I know. That's why I'm the only one that gets to tickle you." Wally smiled, pulling Dick into a hug. Dick snuggled into Wally, chuckling. He felt a lot better, but he was very tired.

Wally fell asleep, and he was quickly followed by Dick. The worry Wally had felt kept him awake, unable to sleep for more than thirty minutes. With Dick on his chest, having filled Wally's ears with laughter not long before, Wally slept like a baby.

Artemis came in to check on the two. Barry had asked her to make sure nothing happened to the duo while they rested. It was a little painful to see Wally so close to another, but she got the chance to learn more about the mysterious teenager who pulled their team together.

Artemis always worried that the person Wally chose wouldn't be a good match. That they would break his heart, and leave it in shards. Nightwing didn't seem that way, but Artemis couldn't be sure. To her, no one deserved Wally.

Wally was sleeping, Nightwing on his chest. Nightwing had his head resting on Wally's collarbone, holding his hand. Both looked peaceful, like there wasn't a care in the world. Artemis wished she still had that relationship with the speedster. But it was too late. She had her chance, and she didn't take it like Nightwing had.

Artemis walked out, heart aching. It had been a good time, but Wally had ultimately decided they were better as friends. Artemis agreed at the time. She disagreed now. Artemis wished she could go back in time and erase the past. To start over again.

Wally woke up, yawning and stretching as best he could without waking the sleeping boy on his chest. It seemed like he was thinking under fuzz, his brain lagging. What time was it? He looked over at his alarm clock, where it read nine AM. Wally looked down at the boy on his chest. It seemed like only yesterday Wally had found Dick at that Gala. It was strange, to say the least. He never imagined life with his significant other to be this wild. Yet it made Wally happy to be living on the wild side, as long as he got to stay with Dick.

Dick groaned and dug into Wally. "Hello, Sleeping Beauty.  Feeling better?" Wally asked. "Yeah. Just tired." Dick grumbled, feeling Wally keep him steady. "Think you could eat something?" "Maybe. Not sure. I'm a little hungry, but not starving." "That's better than nothing. "I know, but I wish I could do more. I know anything you do is to help me, and I want to get better, but I feel like I'm not doing well enough." Dick said. "You're doing all you can. Don't worry about it." Wally smiled. He could take care of a sleepy Dick Grayson for a few days
