Ok, so this will be a pretty controversial and a risky chapter, because I'm gonna talk about religion.

(Note: I'm not promoting any ideologies here, just expressing my opinions)

Ok, if you didn't know. I am an Agnostic. This means Idk what to believe cuz I don't see any proof of anything (this includes atheism too) I think there is something at the end of life however, it's that I have no clue what it is. Which is why I'm kinda pissed when somebody calls atheism and agnosticism as the same thing. I don't go as far to atheism mostly because I don't know if it's true that there is no purpose and that there is nothing after. I also don't like that idea that nothing is after death because it seems pretty frightening to think deeply about it.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate religion. Religion gives us an actual meaning to live that gives us a kind of reward after we die. What I dislike however is that religion is not the peaceful thing that believers make it out to be. I'm not saying all people are like this, but some extremist religious groups/people always shove their nonsense down your throat if you like it or not. No, I do not mean church however. Churches, Mosques, Synagogues, temples, or any other kind of religious worship places don't fall under this, since they are just places where priests and holy people preach at since it's a place of worship.
I mean as in people who discriminate, commit hate crimes, commit acts of terrorism, and prejudice against people they don't agree with. Because usually their gods believe in forgiveness. Which makes no sense because if god doesn't care about whatever you do. As long as if it's not evil or hurting anyone, then why is it bad to believe in something else? But extremists still go out of their way to hurt others for being gay, or believer of a different religion. Just because their god or church doesn't agree with it.
Historically, religion has been pretty oppressive in the past too, (not as bad as it is now, but you'll see what I mean.)
For example, things like the crusades, The Spanish inquisition, or the expansion of the Islamic Caliphate. (These are just some examples, these are not targeted towards whatever any of y'all believe in.)
I only choose to be this way because I actually read about different religions and what views they have so I can find something I can agree or associate with.
So far, the religion I could agree on is a obscure old religion called Shamanism. Which is a spiritual religion alot of Native Americans believed in where everything going from Plants, Humans, and animals all have a spirit. This also means that humans can find a way to connect with these spirits and that the afterlife is some kind of spirit world on our planet.
So this is basically what I believe in, thx for coming to my ted talk.
