Book of the week #1 (Spoilers)
That's right, I stole Song of the week from yanderezeppelin. Fight me.
Anyway, the book of the week is called "Pickman's Model" by HP Lovecraft.
Basically this dude meets a man named Pickman and this Pickman fellow makes horrific and disturbing paintings of creatures and ancient abominations. The guy looks into Pickman more after visiting him and later finding out that these creatures that Pickman paints is real and hidden beneath his house.
And if you're a Fallout fan, you might recognize the name Pickman from Pickman's Gallery, a serial killer who murders raiders and bandits and uses their blood to paint their dead corpses and reactions before they were killed. Yep, Pickman from FO4 was from Pickman's Model.
