no one's P.O.V.

Clary and Jonathan stumbled out the portal and back into the living room of their wonderfully large house. Silence filled the house. It wasn't a comfortable silence either it was an awkward one and Jonathan knew he had to say something to break it.

" clary. Are you okay?"

She stood there frozen lost in her thoughts about jace and everything that happened in the past year. She snapped out of her thoughts when she saw a Hand wave in front of her face. She looked at him all he saw in her eyes was guilt, and pain. He also noticed that at any moment she could break and this time he didnt  know how to fix it if that happened. Even though he knew it was pointless he still had to ask her is she okay.

" I...... I......I "

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

" Im fine I just need some time by myself".

Jonathan knew she needed it. He let her walk pass him without hesitation. He also knew this wouldn't help anything but he had to let her know.

" you know I love you right?" he told her when she reached the top of the stairs. Clary turned to look at him with a  smile on her face but it didn't reach her eyes.

"I know" she answered.

Clary's P. O.V.

When I reached my room I decided to take a shower. A nice cool calming shower. I walked into the bathroom I turned around to turn the shower on when I noticed myself in the mirror.  ' I changed in this past year' , that's when she started to list every thing that changed about her. Hair longer, stretch marks ( not that noticeable ), eyes dimmer, an inche in a half taller, have more noticeable curves. Theres was so many things she noticed but the thing that was at the top of her list is she noticed a gray hair. ' all this drama' she thought to herself. Clary grow tired of looking at what she has become and turn on the shower,  stripped off all her clothes, and stepped into the shower. As the cool water slid down her skin all the memories of the past year flashed in her mind. After an hour she got out, grabbed her towel and walked into her room. But something wasn't right. Before she had any time to react the the lights flashed off and then on again. But this time Will was standing in front of her.
