"Hey. Wake up." Gus said, sitting on my legs.
"Ugh, Gus, get off."
"Never. Come on, wake up."
"I will not." He lit a blunt and inhaled it. "Listen, I have a concert tonight, and..."
"Okay."
"Wanna come?"
"No. I don't want you worrying about me. I'll be okay here, at home."
"You sure?" His face fell. "I don't mind worrying about you."
"Yeah."
"Okay."
"You woke me up, might as well lemme have a hit."
Gus smiled and handed me the blunt. "Fine."
I inhaled it and blew the smoke back into his face. "Fucker."
"Ah, I missed it when you did that."
I pushed him off of me and got up, stretching. "Uh huh."
"Why don't you call your mom?"
"We've talked about this so many times. She abandoned me. Dad abandoned me. Just because you have a good relationship with your mom doesn't mean I do."
"Can't say I didn't try." He sat up on my bed. He still never put on a shirt after he woke up.
"I won't continue talking to you until you put a shirt on, Gustav."
Gus glared at me as he grabbed one of my shirts and put it on. "Okay, Leia."
"You're fucking impossible."
"You love it. Wanna grab food?----

----
----I had an incoming call from Gus. I was expecting one right after his concert which ended a couple hours ago. I answered it. "Hey."
"L-Leia... I need you, I..."
"What'd you do?"
"I'm in my apartment... I... I took something... I dunno... I need help..."
"I'll be there. Give me a minute." I ended the call and threw on a sweatshirt, and next thing I knew I was sprinting down the street, down the sidewalks I've walked so many times. I burst into his apartment. "Gus?"
"Leia?"
I went to his room. He was sitting on the floor, shirtless, using his bed as a backrest. "Gus." I kneeled next to him. "What'd you take?"
"Xans."
"So why are you so fucked up?"
"I don't.... I dunno... Leia..."
"Stand up, come on." I lifted onto his feet, which was a feat in itself since Gus was skinny and strong and very, very high. He didn't wanna stand up. "Come on, man."
I managed to carry him to the bathroom and he steadied himself on the counter. "I'm faded."
"Yeah, you are."
"Told her 'baby, I'm the type to get faded.'"
I looked in his eyes and wiped a wet washcloth on his face. "You okay?"
"No... I'm tired."
"Sit on the edge of the bathtub."
Instead, Gus sat on top of the toilet cover. I grabbed his phone and scrolled through his contacts. "What're you doing?" He asked, staring off into nothing.
"Calling someone." I clicked on Tracy's contact.
"Yo, Peep, what's up?"
"Tracy, it's Leia."
"Oh, shit, what's wrong?"
"Gus took Xans but he's way more fucked up then usual."
"I dunno, don't take him to the hospital. Just help him best you can."
"How?"
"Don't let him sleep."
"Okay. Thanks."
"Yeah. Good luck." He ended the call.
"Hey, Gus."
"Hi, Leia."
"You okay?"
He grinned. "I'm okay as long as I'm with you. D'you know where Mom is?"
"She's not here. You're at your apartment."
"You shoulda come to the concert. I woulda given you a backstage pass. The fans were all yelling Gothboiclique. And I was performing, like usual, but I don't remember really. It all blends together. I would've liked you there."
"I'll go next time."
"Okay."
"Do you wanna eat something?"
"No. I wanna die."
"Gus..."
"Jus' look at the brightside, look at the club lights."
"You're singing."
"You'll be fine." He squeezed my hand. "You will be."
"No, I won't." I pulled him to a standing position. I led him back to his room. He sat on his bed while I sat next to him.
He stuck his tongue out at me. "I'm tired."
"No. Can't sleep."
"Why not."
"Cos Tracy said you couldn't."
"You called Tracy? What'd you talk about?"
"You."
"Oh."
"Gus, you okay?"
"Yeah." He laid down with his head in my lap.
"Okay." I played with his hair.
Gus grabbed my wrist and kissed my hand. "Love you, Leia."
"That's the drugs."
"No, I love you. You're an amazing friend."
"Gus, you're fucked right now."
"Baby, you know I'm always like this. You don't gotta stay."
"I'm gonna stay."
"Okay." He squeezed my hand. "I wanna kiss you."
"W-What?"
"I wanna kiss you, Leia."
"It's the drugs."
"No it's not, whenever I sing Star Shopping I see you in my brain." He pointed at his head with his free hand. "Teen Romance? I think about you. U Said... Yeah. It's about you too. They all are. Even the unreleased songs you don't know about. So yeah. It's not the drugs. I don't know shit about anything else in life but I know I wanna kiss you."
"Why me? You could have so many other girls, hell you're bi you could have so many guys, you could get anyone you want. You're Lil Bo' Peep." I bit my lip.
"Yeah, I am. And I want you." His hand reached up to cup my cheek.
I leaned down to kiss him and I felt him smile. I pulled away a second later. "Gus... You really wanna deal with me?"
"Course I do, baby, you've been with me forever. You've dealt with my shit for as long as I could remember. And I promise, it's not the drugs talking. It's all me."
"Okay."
"So you're mine now?"
"Yeah."
He grinned. "Lil Bo' Peep with a brand new bitch, in the back of the club with the Gothboiclique. Iced out teeth with an iced out whip, with the limousine tints you can suck my dick."
"Gotta wait for that, we don't have a limousine."
"I could get one."
"Uh huh."
"I could! Imma go call Tracy, alright baby?"
"You're not getting a limousine, though, right?"
"Nah. Don't worry about it. I'll be right back." He got up off of my lap and left the room.
A couple minutes passed and I examined his room. I haven't been here in at least a year and a half. Not much changed. It was a bit emptier then I remembered. And then I heard his phone conversation with Tracy. "She fuckin' said yes bro." I knew I shouldn'tve listened, but I decided to anyways. "Yeah. Kissed her... Yeah I'm fucked up right now, but when am I not? Exactly... She knows all my shit, dude, I've known her since we were like nine... Yeah, rolling on twenty-one, give it a couple months. Then I can legally drink... She's a couple months younger then me... Fuck yeah I'll buy her drinks. I'll do that anyways. People just give drinks and drugs to people like us. Imma go, she's in my room... No, not like that! Fuck off, Tracy." He laughed. "I'll talk to you later, see ya."
Gus walked back into the room. "Hey, baby."
I tried to hide a small smile as he sat next to me on the bed. "You sure-"
"I am one hundred percent sure. And you're tired, get some sleep, baby."
"Here?"
"Sure. You've slept in my bed before."
"Yeah, but it was different..."
"What? Don't wanna sleep next to Lil Peep?"
"I wanna sleep next to Gus, not Lil Peep. Although I wouldn't mind sleeping next to Peep either."
"Aight, baby, come here then." He wrapped his arms around me and we laid down, my head on his bare chest. "Sleep well, Leia."
