Beast! Todoroki x Human! Reader

A/N: I just wanna say that this is inspired by Beauty and The Beast. It's one of my favorite movies, and I was like, 'Why not make a chapter on that?', so yeahhh. Enjoy!

"Don't be out too late! Oh- And don't go out into the forest! You what would happen if you did!" Your mother calls out you.

"Of course! Bye bye, mother!" You reply, and rush out the door with a basket in hand.

You had to deliver a basket full of food to Monoma, the lord's son. You honestly dislike him, but you'd never say that to his face. You were the type of girl who kept her feelings to herself. You didn't mind, though.

"Okay.. Mother said he should be at his house.." You mutter to yourself, looking around the small village.

You hummed to yourself, your mind going to a different place. You were quite absent-minded, so that would make sense.

You were broken out of your thoughts when you passed by the forest. You've always wanted to go there, but knew it was dangerous. In fact, fables would say that there was a hideous beast living in a castle that was inside the forest.

Although, they say he was quite hideous, you couldn't help but wonder if the beast actually was what they said he was. Maybe he wasn't that bad.

You looked into the dark forest, the wind blowing your H/C hair lightly. As you looked deeper into the forest, you saw little lights flying around. However, you quickly dismissed them as fireflies and went on to the lord's house.

You made it to the lord's house, and knocked on the door.

The door opened up, and there he was. Monoma. You shuddered at the sight of him, trying to contain your uncomfortableness.

"Oh, look who we have here.. Such a pretty girl, delivering my food to me. How sweet." He says, in a condescending tone.

"Here's your basket, Monoma.." You say in a quiet tone, holding the basket up in front of him.

He smirks and grabs the basket. That wasn't the only thing he grabbed, however. He grabbed your chin and lifted it upward. You sweatdrop a bit, but stayed silent.

"So pretty.. How could anyone make you perform tasks such as delivering food?" He asks no one in particular, sneering.

"I-I don't mind." You say gingerly, stepping away from him.

"You deserve to be like me. Someone higher than those peasants." He says, the word 'peasant' laced with venom.

"L-Like I said, I don't mind. Anyways, I must be going now." You step back, turning around and walking away.

"That's unfortunate." Monoma simply says, stepping back inside his house, shutting the door.

You let out a big sigh, shaking your head. What Monoma just did is one of the reasons you dislike him so much.

You simply dismiss the thought and turn your head towards the forest.

You paused for a minute, stopping in your tracks. You were tempted to walk towards the forest, but you weren't sure what was waiting for you inside. You take a step forward towards the forest, though.

"It wouldn't hurt if I.." Your words trailed off, finding yourself move towards the mysterious forest, almost like it was pulling you in.

You purse your lips, walking further into the forest. You knew it was a bad idea, but you couldn't help yourself.
