Don't Worry - Todoroki x Reader (Request)

"Sho! Hi! How are you you?!"

You squeal happily, running up to the small boy on the swing. Before he saw you, his face looked blank, but upon seeing your happy, kind face, it made his world a little bit brighter.

"Y/n.. Hello." Your friend smiles softly, his features looking ethereal.

"Do you wanna play?! Oh! And, I have something to tell you when I have to go home, okay?" You smile widely.

He nods and hops off the swing. "Okay. Let's play now." He states softly.

The two of you played together as your step-mother sat on a bench, watching the two of you. Todoroki's mother wasn't able to watch him, and his father wasn't willing to, so it's seems his older sister decided to watch him. She's not much older, but it'll do.

"Sho! Sho! Heeeelp meeee!" You scream out, teaching out to his hand.

He kneels down to you, staring at the small situation you were in. You were inside the slide, hanging onto the rim. You were about to slide down, and had a dramatic, scared expression on your face.

"Don't let me go down! Help! I can't get out!" You grunt, reaching for his hand.

Todoroki simply shrugged and grabbed both of your hands.

"Oh, thank you-"

He lets go of your hands, making you slide down the colorful tube. He could hear your loud scream echo as you ventured down it, and a small, satisfied smile played on his face.

"Long live the king." He mumbles out.

"Sho! You weren't supposed to do that! That was EVIL!" You yell in the slide, and he lets out a sweet chuckle.

"I'm sorry! Can you forgive me?" He questions, using the slide as a communication device.

There was a long pause before you pouted and crossed your arms.

"I'll only forgive you if you come down with me!" You state.

He nodded and smiled. "Okay. I'm coming." He smiles and crawls inside the slide.

You waited for him to appear, tapping your foot against the mulch like a disappointed parent. Todoroki made it all the way to the bottom, and you saw his beautiful smile.
