3 months later....
Ryleigh
I was getting so close to my due date. I was nervous. Jenna had the twins four months ago. They were all doing great but she and Tyler looked exhausted all the time. Zack and I had two more weeks left of this pregnancy. I kept going over lists to make sure we had everything finished for when our baby girl decided to enter the world. Lisa and the guys held a baby shower 2 months ago where we were gifted most of what we would need.

It was two in the morning and I still found myself unable to sleep due to a discomfort. I managed to get up since I had to pee. Our little girl loved sitting right on my bladder. I waddled to the bathroom and did my business. I stood back up and felt a serious cramp that I thought was just Braxton Hicks.

I had so many of those that we took a trip to the hospital a month ago and they told us I wasn't going into labor yet and that Braxton Hicks were totally normally. I breathed in and out until it passed and started making my way out of our bathroom to the room I shared with Zack. I was about to shut the bathroom light off when the pain hit my again causing me to grab the door frame. A liquid poured down my legs onto the floor. "Zack!"I screamed. He startled awake and ran to my side. "What's wrong?"he asked, touching my shoulder. "MY WATER BROKE!"I screamed as the pain passed and I panicked. I didn't feel ready. She was early.

Zack swooped me up into his arms bridal style and carried me out to the car. He ran back to grab our hospital bag then started the car as we sped down the driveway toward the hospital. I put Alex on speakerphone and continued to breathe while it rang. "Ryleigh, what's wrong?"he asked, voice heavy with sleep and worry. "Alex. Her water just broke. We're on our way to the hospital,"Zack explained, eyes on the road. "Holy---!"he said and Lisa's voice cut him off. "Babe, what's wrong?"she asked. "Ryleigh's water broke!"he said.

"Call Jack and Rian please!"I grunted through pain. Alex shouted sure and hung up. I called Josh next. Josh, Debby, and Tyler flew down a week ago and were staying in a hotel along with my parents and siblings. Jenna's parents were helping Jenna with the twins. She named them William and Madelyn. "Ryleigh?"Josh asked. "On our way to the hospital. Her water broke!"Zack said hurriedly. I heard Josh yell at everyone else with him then he hung up. I saw the city lights and knew we were almost to town. Zack, however didn't slow down. He was going fifty five in a thirty five.

I was about to speak up when I saw blue lights behind us. "Fuck!"he yelled. I just breathed as he slowed down and pulled over. "Yes officer?"Zack asked with the window down and hands on the steering wheel. "Where are you headed in such a hurry? You were twenty over?"the officer asked. "My fiancè just went into labor,"Zack explained quickly and calmly. The officer shown a flashlight on me to show that we were obviously telling the truth. "Follow me!"he said and ran back to his car. He gave us an escort and Zack went inside to get a nurse for me.

"Congratulations ma'am! Next time, tell him to slow down a bit?"he asked. I gave him a thumbs up and he walked away as Zack and a nurse appeared with a wheelchair. I waited for a moment while Zack parked the car and we went up to the delivery ward. My doctor came in and told me I was only six centimeters dilated and that I had four more to go.

Zack had his hand in my iron grip. A strong contraction hit causing me to scream out in pain and try to breathe through it. When it passed I started to cry. "I can't do this!"I sobbed. "Yes, you can, Ryleigh! We're almost there,"Zack promised me as he pecked my lips gently. A nurse administered an epidural into my spine which hurt momentarily then offered relief. My doctor came in soon after that. "Its time!"the doctor announced, sitting on a stool by my feet in between my legs.

"On 3, I need you to push,"she said. "1! 2! 3!"she said and I grunted as I pushed. "Stop!"she ordered. This process continued several times. "One more big push!"she said. I nodded and took a deep breath, giving it all I had. A minute later, a baby's cry was heard throughout the room. I leaned back and smiled tiredly at Zack as he kissed my forehead. They cleaned my baby off.

"Here's your beautiful baby girl! Congratulations!"she said, laying my cleaned off baby in my arms gently. I moved the blanket back a little and caught a glimpse of her beautiful little face. She looked up at Zack and smiled before letting out a yawn and falling asleep.

She was perfect. I was exhausted. They moved me down the hall to a different room on the maternity ward. This room had a little box crib for her (these are standard in maternity rooms) and some chairs. "Hey, babe, you wanna go get Josh and everyone else from the waiting room?"I asked. "Sure thing!"Zack said and ran out of the room. I smiled down at my baby girl, grateful I had a moment alone with her.

A few minutes later, everyone appeared in my room. It was very early in the morning by now and most of them adorned a coffee cup in their hands. "Sorry it took so long. We had to wait for Jack,"Zack apologized. Alex, Lisa, Jack, Rian, Josh, Abby, Ashley, Jordan, Debby, and my parents piled into the tiny room. I passed my baby girl to Lisa who sat down next to Alex. "What's her name?"Alex asked.

"Clarity Hope Merrick,"I said proudly. I hadn't even told Zack what I was thinking but I gave her his last name, we are engaged after all. "I love it!"Zack said, his eyes lit up. He kissed the top of my head as everyone took turns holding my little baby and cooing at her. Eventually, exhaustion overtook me and I drifted off to sleep with our friends still gathered around.

A/N: Hey y'all! Happy Holidays! I managed to finish this one up. I've been super sick over the last week but it's almost Christmas. I had a hard time deciding on the baby's name in this chapter but Clarity keeps ringing out in my mind (partially because of My Chem and the symbols or new era). I did watch a live stream of the My Chem concert the other night and it was amazing! I think that's probably all for this authors note. Till next time. Much love!
