(In the corridors)

Barnacles: I don't think we should use a classroom. (He bumps into Wilbert) Hi, Wilbert. What’s up?

Wilbert: [to bandmates] Uh, you guys hear something?

Joseph: Uhh-uhh.

Ethan: Aw, nope.

Barnacles: I said, ‘Hi, Wilbert. What’s—

Wilbert: There it is again. So annoying.

Barnacles: Why are you acting like this? I thought we were friends.

Wilbert: Yeah, and then you decide to come back here just so you can beat me in the Battle of the Bands. I want this, Barnacles, and you're trying to take it from me! Some friend.

Barnacles: That's not why—

Tweak: (Angrier then ever) Wilbert, some childhood friend you are to say that! (To Barnacles, much kinder) Come on, Barnacles. We've got things to do.

Wilbert: You really think you're gonna help them?! Ha! I bet you have no idea what you're even doing!

(The 6 walk off, Tweak had tears prick her eyes. Barnacles gently rubbed her hand, comforting her.)

Marina: [chuckling] Tears already? This is only the first round.

Olivia and Lily: [laughing]

Principal Inkling: The next band to take the stage will be Tiffany and the Illusions.

Marina: Better head back. We're supposed to go on after Tiffany.

(In a dark corridor, Rochelle is getting a drink when the Dazzlings show up.)

Rochelle: You're never gonna get away with this.

Marina: Why? Because you didn’t? (The girls start circling Rochelle) Oh, we know all about you, Rochelle. You've got quite the reputation at Octo High.

Rochelle: I've changed! I'm in a much better place now!

Olivia: Waiting in the wings while your friends have all the fun?

Marina: Oh, yes, you lot are so tight. And yet... they didn't ask you to be in the band.

Olivia: Probably afraid no one would want to see them play if she was in the group.

(Lily pops up from behind Rochelle twice, shocking her a little.)

Lily: Too bad! So sad!

Marina: If it's any consolation, no one is going to remember you at all by the time we're done.

(The Dazzlings leave Rochelle very worried as they head back.)
