To say Keith was embarrassed to find him and Lance in the same place they had been in when he accidentally fell asleep was an understatement. He was so flustered he couldn't think of a word good enough to describe his embarrassment.

"Next time just wake me up," Keith grumbled.
Lance shrugged, wrote, and handed the pad to Keith.

*I couldn't! You were like a sleeping cat! You can't just wake up a sleeping cat! It's illegal!*

"Maybe in Cuba but you're not going to get arrested for waking up a cat in space," Keith said rolling his eyes.

*you underestimate the power of a cute, little, fluffy animal*

Keith chuckled to himself, "Oh so I'm cute little fluffy animal now?"
Lance went a little red and stuck his tongue out.

*I know it's childish, but it's the fastest way to voice my disapproval*

Keith just laughed at that. Lance through up his hands tossing his notepad and pen, in teasing annoyance.
Keith caught the pad, "You are so dramatic," he laughed.

Lance blew a kiss at him with a wink. Keith pretended to catch it and slipped it into his pocket handing the pad back. Lance took it and scribbled something down.

*none for me? :(*

Lance pouted, giving Keith puppy dog eyes. Keith raised an eyebrow at him. Lance just deepened his pout.

Keith gave in and pecked Lance's nose. Before walking to Red.

Lance stood there in shock, his face slowly going red. Keith's own blush was growing as well.

Red and Blue watched their Paladins in amusement, totally shipping it. Like those two moms who think their kids would be the cutest pair ever!

Keith took a second to get himself under control before facing Lance again.
"He probably doesn't even like me,"  Keith thought to himself.
"Doubtful, I can see him. Blue's Paladin looks quite red,"  Red teased.

Keith shot her a glare, "So you can talk to me, but why can't you fly?"
"I am not sure, my mechanics are not my strong suit, even if my last Paladin did create us," Red purred.

"That didn't help," Keith muttered, annoyed.
He glance over at Lance, who's face match the color of Red. Lance huffed at Blue and stormed over to Kieth.

"What's wrong?" he asked, having his suspicions.

*Blue's mean*

Keith just laughed and shook his head.
"Come on, let's see if we can call the others."

The pair sat in Red's cockpit. Keith trying the comms.

"Castle of Lions come in. This is Keith. I'm with Lance we got away from the Galra, our Lions are malfunctioning, we can't leave the planet we're on. We're not sure where we are. Hopefully Pidge can track this transmission if you're getting it," Keith sighed.
Lance tapped on his shoulder and pointed to his throat.

"Also, Lance can't talk. Well he can't talk a lot. So don't worry about us killing each other," he added.
Lance handed him a note.

*just saying I'd kick your ass jk :)*

"You're an ass Lance," Keith teased.

*it was a joke! Mr. Grumpy Galra Cat Furry Purry*

"I'm not a cat."

*you PURR!!! why did you think I comared you to a cat not a dog?*

"I do not purr Lance!"

Lance huffed and started petting Keith behind the ears.
"What are you doing?" he demanded, trying, and failing, to swatt Lance's hand away.
Lance kept scratching him, shifting his hand to under Keith's chin, remembering how his abuela's cat liked to be pet.

Keith was fighting his urge to purr, just to try to prove Lance wrong.
"Quit petting me like a damn cat Lance!" he protested.
Lance didn't let up. Keith getting pissed at how much he was actually enjoying it.

Lance moved his thumb behind Keith's ear, keeping the rest of his fingers in place, petting Keith. The Red Paladin, to his dismay, began purring, leaning into Lance's touch on instinct.

Lance internally started screaming from the amount of cute in front of him.

Keith yanked away from Lance his face going red as his armor. Lance tapped his shoulder with the pad.

*good kitty~ :3*

"Ya know what, I might kill him. Mute. Or not," Keith growled, glaring at Lance.
The Blue Paladin wisely, for once, ran. Jet packing from Red's mouth.
"LANCE!" Keith shouted after him, charging out of the cockpit as well.

The two completely forgetting the whole thing was being sent out as a message they were hoping would reach their teammates.
