The trade deal worked well, Baskin was in proper protection, and I managed to get around The Organizer and got a paper signed that would give a proper caretaker for Baskin. Channing was the obvious choice, and they've been happy through it, The Organizer, of course, found out, but couldn't do anything against it now, it was too late.
Rowan reunited with Ross and Levi, and it was a total scene with Ross scolding him continuously before angrily kissing him back into their room, where Chelsey then took Levi to go play with Xander in the children's area.
"So, think you are gonna stay?" Louise asks, walking to me with a happy look on her face.
"Probably not. I have plans I need to take up. More calls to make, and a life to live." I say, looking to Alex, who was happily talking to Donna and Kaiden. "I do have someone who'll be coming by though. You'll know him when you see him." I say and Louise smiles and shakes her head before walking off to talk with Baskin and Channing.
Baskin had a bracelet on, with a white glow on it, it was thin, but it kept him back, just in case he were to tick at all, but he seemed happy, and content. He belonged to these people. I didn't. I have no idea what this group has gone through, or what they share, but I can see something in all of them. Hope.
Hope, to change the world, and to help others. Even Baskin has that. First time I ever saw him.
"Hey, hun. How're you holding up?" Alex asks, walking over and sliding a hand around my waist, I hold him by the shoulder, pulling him in close and shrug.
"I suppose I'm doing fine. As good as I'll get I suppose." I say laughing, and Alex laughs with me before I feel a buzz in my pocket, looking down, I notice a text and smile, remembering the kid I took care of not long ago.
I hear a commotion from up ahead and then look up to see a panting Azuma nad Peyton standing there, sweaty and tired.
Peyton looks up before pointing to Baskin.
"We know how to fix him."
