Meghan's body was bopping up and down. She felt sick. She opened her eyes but she couldn't see. What the hell? She tried to speak but her mouth wouldnt respond to her brain. That's when she realized she was blindfolded and gagged. And that she was being carried. She tried to pound her fist against whoever was carrying her like a ragdoll, but her hands were binded together.
The person that was carrying her grunted in strain; Meghan wasn't exactly as light as a feather.
"Stop fidgeting," the voice came. It was the same voice that she'd heard on the phone. But it was still robot-like, as if they had a mechanism by their mouth to change their voice.
Meghan screamed but it came out muffled. She tossed her body back and forth but the person didn't let her go.
About a minute later, she was dropped, and landed hard on the cold ground. She writhed her body but she knew she wasn't going anywhere. She was totally immobile.
She heard a scraping sound, like a chair's metal legs on the ground. She was right in thinking that, as next she was hurled up off the ground and pushed down onto a chair. Her captor yanked her arms back and tied them to the chair. They did the same to her legs.
"Comfy?" The person laughed, bitterly. "If not, learn how to, because it's gonna be a while until you get out of here. In a bodybag."
Meghan didn't bother to scream or try to talk. She knew she was done for. She was at his mercy. She couldn't do anything."I've got some other stuff to take care of. I'll be gone a few hours. I hope you've eaten and drunk. Otherwise you'll be suffering." They laughed again. "I don't mind though, you deserve it."
Meghan could hear their feet walking away and then she was left alone. In complete silence.
Whoever this was, they actually wanted her dead, it seemed. But why? What had she done? The warnings she'd had about staying away from Hannah and Omega Phi Delta swum through her mind. But why did this person not want her to join the sorority? Why did she deserve to suffer?
Her head became groggy all of a sudden and her breathing became agitated. Was she having a panic attack? She'd never had one before. She took a deep breath and regulated her breathing. She suddenly grew very tired. She felt her body begin to loosen up and go limp. She actually welcomed sleep.
