They arrived at the theatre, and Meghan noticed Kendall's little white Fiat 500 in the parking lot.

"Looks like someone had the same idea as us," Meghan said, pointing to the car. "That's Kendall's car, she's pledging too."

"Let's get in there, then," Ben said, pulling Meghan towards the entrance. "Before someone else clicks and comes. You'll all be fighting over the costume, if there is one."

They both started to jog and entered the building, making their way down the corridors to the Costume room.

"In here," Ben whispered, and slowly pushed open a wooden door with 'Costumes' inprinted on it.

They walked into the room, and it was in pitch black. Kendall couldn't be in here. Not in the dark. Ben found a light switch and turned the lights on, and Meghan blinked a few times because of the sudden brightness.

"Let's look around," she said, walking around the small room. "Look for a box or something with 'Christmas' written... wait, I found it, I think!" She saw large trunk in the far left corner and made a beeline towards it. She popped open the lid and ruffled through it until she found a red and green santa's elf outfit. "Yes! I found one," Meghan jumped up in excitement. Without thinking about Ben, she stripped out of her jeggings and baggy gray sweater. She pulled on the outfit over her head and asked Ben to zip her up.

Ben did as he was asked and gave her the thumbs up. "Perfect," he said with a sideways grin. "Get in a pose and I'll take a photo for you."

She handed him her camera phone and posed, screwing her eyes up and poked her tongue out. The flash indicated he had taken a photo. She didn't care what she looked like, as long as she had photographic proof to show the Omega Phi Delta girls.

Kendall popped into Meghan's head as she undressed. Her car was parked outside in the parking lot, so where was she? Once she was dressed in her own clothes again, she turned to look at Ben. "You saw Kendall's car outside, right? So that must mean she's in this building somewhere. Will you look for her with me, please?"

"Of course I will," Ben said, "where should we start?"

"Let's try the stage," Meghan said and they started to walk. "So, are you doing any initiations? Some of the stuff we've had to do was horrible, and poor Kendall accidently stabbed Abbie. This whole thing is crazy. At least they've tamed it with this scavenger hunt."

"We just do games. Drinking games mostly. Beer pong, I Dare You and so on. Nothing too drastic," he replied with a little cough. "Sororities always take it that little step further."

Meghan laughed bitterly. "That's an understatment." They arrived at the theatre and pushed open the heavy double doors. It was completely dark, so they searched for a lightswitch.

Ben must have found one because just then, there was a ticking sound and one by one the lights above their heads came on. Blinking, Meghan looked around. What she saw next made her scream. She screamed and screamed and screamed. Ben gasped and came to hold her. She could feel her legs give way beneath her. Ben kept holding her as she fell. She couldn't take her eyes off what she was looking at.

"Shit, oh shit," Ben whispered, "I'll call 911. Just stay with me, Meg."

Meghan felt herself growing faint. The last thing that she saw before her world went black, was Kendall, up on the stage, hanging from one of the structures with a cable wire, her eyes open and her mouth ajar.
