"Jennie this project is meant to bring your precise opinion onto a piece of paper, not mine"

Philosophy class was a hit or miss for most students, either you enjoyed interpreting the depth of various, sometimes absurd, train of thoughts or you were busy keeping your Instagram feed neat, just like Jennie did most of the time. She was either doing that or shopped online to prevent herself from falling asleep.

Lisa on the other hand, liked philosophy class and paid attention all the time, though it could have been the fact that her school's fees were almost impossible to afford for mid class people like her. She did not have the luxury of skipping class or simply avoid paying attention, it was already a luxury for her to attend a high class school like this one – Seoul's only private school. And although it was hard to find friends at first, since her social class was the lowest, Lisa managed to find a few reliable faces. Jennie being one of them.

"We can just pretend to have the same opinion, come on Lisa, I gotta attend the Paris fashion week this weekend. I refuse to stay behind just to do the homework for such an irrelevant subject!", Jennie begged her and ended up complaining again. She hated sitting down to do something for school in general, because apparently it wasted her youth, but this subject just didn't do it for her at all.

Her parents surely had the money to get her through the school anyway, being famous designers all over Asia, but they didn't want to. Though Jennie's parents spoiled her a lot, they demanded from her to focus on school like any other student and make a living afterwards. She was free to decide, what she wanted to be and had financial support for that. Jennie wasn't dumb either, in fact Lisa believed she was a lot smarter than she made it look like.

"It's one thing to have the same opinion and another thing to write exactly the same things, it doesn't make any sense, Jen", Lisa sighed. She had nothing against doing Jennie's homework, but she genuinely wanted her to start focus more, because as precious as youth was, education would decide your path. "Can't you do the homework before flying off to Paris or while sitting in the plane?"

Jennie puffed her cheeks in a childish way, her arms crossed in front of her chest while walking next to Lisa as they made their way to the cafeteria. The school, giving justice to their great reputation, was so big, they had to separate it into two big wings – one for freshman, one for seniors. The cafeteria however, was for both wings to use as the cafeteria was big enough to hold a feast. It was located in the freshmen wing of the building, which was why it took a while for seniors like Jennie and Lisa to reach the other wing.

Although Lisa was a student of this school for a year, she still found herself get lost every now and then. Especially, when there was no one to show her around, as the school didn't bother to show her more than once, Lisa felt helpless searching for her classes then. Fortunately, she got to know Jennie, who did not feel too good to talk to her, instead she treated Lisa like any other friend of hers. Lisa still remembered, how Jennie approached her by calling her the human barbie, making Lisa chuckle for the first time, since starting to attend the school.
