"Hey, everything alright, Lis?", Juhyun asked her as they sat beside each other during lunch time, she immediately noticed a change in Lisa's behavior. While it was normal for her to drift away easily and daydream about the wildest things, it surely wasn't ordinary to see her frown. The fact that her food remained untouched was even more alarming to Juhyun and Jisoo. Both of them fetched her from art classes and felt a weird aura surround her as she was quite, more than usual.

Lisa found herself in reality after getting called out by Juhyun and smiled thankful for her concern. Combing her bangs with her fingers, she nodded while doing so. A moment of regret passed by her, normally it was considered natural to share thoughts with friends, but Lisa quickly got over that and reminded herself, that these girls were probably fed up with their own issues. At least she assumed so by the way Juhyun's dark eye circles weren't covered by the thick layers of concealer. Jisoo did not look that good either with her nose almost tomato red and her eyes constantly watering.

No matter how confused she was due to current events, there was no way she would drag her friends into it. Everything was temporary, this was another thing that would eventually pass.

"I guess that's what you look like, when spending too much time with that Chanel handbag", Jisoo commented unamused and pushed her empty tray forward, crossing her arms in front of her chest afterwards. Both, Juhyun and Lisa, knew she referred to Jennie by calling her 'Chanel handbag'. Lisa knew that her friend was not all too fond of Jennie, though Jisoo never named a particular reason why. As understanding as Lisa was, she never forced both of them to like each other or interact at all, it was impossible to like and be liked by everybody.

However, Lisa knew her boundaries and ignored none of them, Jennie was still a dear friend to her.

"Please refrain from talking bad about her, Jisoo, as much as you dislike her – she is still a close friend of mine and I never asked for anything more of you than to respect our friendship", Lisa spoke in a soft but demanding tone, hinting that she would not tolerate anyone talking bad about Jennie. Same with all of her other friends, no one was less important than the other one.

Juhyun kicked Jisoo underneath the table and stared at her in a way that rhetorically asked 'was that necessary?'

Jisoo bit her bottom lip in slight regret, Lisa knew by looking into her brown orbs. She took a good sip of her coffee and swallowed hardly, as though that would make her a little more empathic.

"Sorry", she murmured after coughing falsely.

"It's alright", Lisa sighed deeply and massaged her temple stressed out. Her appetite was playing tricks on her by dropping down to zero, her head started to hurt and suddenly the whole day was a mess.

She was not afraid of Jungkook or the way he tried to intimidate her, rather than that she was afraid of the imagine her mind created by a lot of foreshadowing. Lisa was someone, who seriously believed in the power of fate, which was why the direction fate led her to was giving her shivers. Just the thought of carrying the life of a human being was mind blowing.
