Still bawling, still sniffling, still hoping and praying. Just doing my thing in the corner. My chest freaking hurts, but it isn't near as bad as the pain that was caused from death.
"We need to go at some point." Glenn tells me, I slap him in the face.
"Shut up!! I can say when I wanna leave!!" I retort. I do open the gates, and after that blood-fest begins. Glenn eyeballs me like he saw a ghost, but he plays along, shooting the walkers with me. I climb the fence and Jump down. Still silent. I kill more walkers and finally get to the open highway, where Glenn and the other girl trail behind me. Glenn runs up to me.
"What do you think your doing Riley?"
He says.
"Staying Alive, even though it has no point." I snap at him, without making eye contact.
"Listen, I know it sucks, you lost your parents, Merle, and you're pretty sure you lot everyone else who you care about." He says at me. I stop. I turn around at him.
"Listen, I've been through too much too care about this. I just need to let myself get over this, it's something I've gotten used too. Just leave me alone! My future has been molded because of HER! I could have had a LIFE if it weren't for her, but I guess she's too selfish to care about people!!!!" I scream at her, and keep walking.
"Ya know, I lost people too! I never got too tell my parents goodbye, my little sister. They're all dead Riley." Glenn yells at me.
"We'll at least you don't have scars on you're back from your parents, at least your parents treated you like a human!..... At-at least your parents loved you....." I yell at him.
Silence again, but it soon stops me in
My tracks. I come across a faded yellow sign, on it in big black letters it said- "Sanctuary for all, those who arrive, survive. Terminus." I laugh. I laugh hysterically even more. Now I'm in hysterics. Glenn looks at me weirdly-
"Why are you laughing?" He asks. I frown. "The last "Sanctuary" didn't work out, remember, it was called WOODBURY." I laugh. He looks at me funny. Then laughs back a little. We walk a little but then Glenn stops. He turns around a bit and stared wide-eyed at it. Then I see it; with messy,
stained red letters saying-
"Glenn, Riley, go to Terminus.
-Maggie." Glenn gets teary eyed at that point, getting down on his knees. He smiles.
"Heh, she's alive.... She is..." He says.
Wow. Good for Glenn. There is still someone in this world who cares about him. There's no one for me. No one for me in this boring life of mine.
