Jules POV

The house had every light on. Vanessa had to be here. There was something else here. Todd's car.

Todd was here.

"Hey isn't that car the cute guy's who work at the mart?" Cassie asked.

"His name's Todd. He must be Vanessa's accomplice." I said.

A crack noise was heard behind us.

Maddy whipped her knife out like a bolt of lightning.

"Whose there?" She asked.

Nothing.

Another crack of branches.

We stood together.

"Rue!?" Gia sais pulling her.

Rue and. . . Blake.

Our eyes met and instantly locked.

I shook my head.

"Guys this is Blake. Blake this is Maddy, Cassie, my sister Gia and my wife Jules." Rue introduced.

"That's your wife!?" Blake asked surprisingly.

I wanted to disappear from sight and die.

I could feel the rolling of Rue's eyes.

Maddy was getting tired of the silence so she led us to the house.

"Here we go." I said nervously.

"About time. I was getting cold out here." An unrecognized voice said.
